Rolling out updates, checking device status, and responding to security alerts doesn't take much time, which makes day-to-day administration a lot smoother. I also like that it runs quietly in the background without slowing down users' computers. Overall, it gives me confidence that our endpoints are protected without adding unnecessary complexity. What is nice about ESET it is a software that takes the worry out about unwanted viruses that may be found on your computer. You can monitor what the software has found and how it got rid of it. With so many users and so many fake emails that come across everyone's computer the chances of a virus getting into your system is very high - with ESET I do not need to worry about that. What do you dislike about ESET PROTECT? I have not been using this software for very long, so I cannot say anything negative at this time. I wish the software was a bit cheaper. What I like most about ESET PROTECT is how thoroughly it scans the entire system for vulnerabilities, which makes it much easier to understand what’s happening across the environment. When it detects a threat, it shows up in a dedicated panel, so it’s immediately noticeable and simple to track, investigate, and follow up on. The scanner checks for both internal and external threats, including ransomware, which helps stop attacks before they can cause real damage. That saves time and can also help keep costs down. It also produces detailed, automated reports that managers can quickly review and act on. It also stands out for its clean, intuitive interface that feels genuinely user-friendly. Setup, configuration, and implementation are straightforward, so people can adopt it quickly without extra complexity. Since it’s cloud-based, day-to-day management feels smoother and more efficient. What do you dislike about ESET PROTECT? ESET PROTECT offers flexible protection features because I only pay for the ones I actually choose to use. With many other tools, I end up buying a full package or license even when I don’t need everything that’s included. Here, I can select licenses that match specific user requirements and pay only for what’s necessary. It’s available for Mac, Windows, Android, and iOS, so it works across almost all platforms. Overall, the implementation feels straightforward. Since it operates in the cloud, administration is very simple, and the high level of automation makes it ideal for generating reports without having to manage that process manually. Since I implemented this solution we’ve had no significant ransomware attacks and this means it’s working properly without any problem. The centralized management works adequately as far as applying policies to the entire endpoint group at one time rather than having to apply them individually to each laptop and also it's easy to use after setting it up. If I create an issue for excessive CPU usage on our Linux servers, I can go weeks without hearing anything. The console looks like it was never updated in ten years. What I like most about ESET PROTECT is how clearly it displays the real-time status of my devices. When everything is safe, the dashboard stays green, which reassures me that the system is protected and that no threats have been detected. If there’s a potential risk, it switches to yellow to show that something needs attention. And when a virus or serious malware is found, it turns red, making it immediately clear that action is required. In many cases, the threat is automatically blocked or moved to quarantine, where it’s safely isolated so it can’t harm the system.
