The most I like of ERPNext is the way it was designed, the modularity of the suite have allowed the developers deliver the most comprehensive ERP for small and medium business, but is not only comprehensive as it is also extensible and with this combination you can create your own micro-verticals solutions for your business or as a SaaS. The suite is still under heavy development, and from one version to another there are obsolete API calls in a real short time, however, this was due the immatureness of the project, that is now much more mature. It's very unpolished in some areas and lack of some features. Many functionalities are very unpredictable and overall working with basic modules is somewhat frustrating. For instance editors do not render html correctly. Email implementation is complicated too and we had to resort to customizing the code of ERPNext.
