Through the NetCloud platform, these routers are configured, managed, and monitored, with SD‑WAN and zero trust networking capabilities applied to support secure and reliable connectivity across distributed and mobile environments, including sites, vehicles, and IoT deployments. ## Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions Reviews ### 1. The EOL strategy is not ideal for IOT over years, but the product is easy to manage and use. **Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** May 24, 2024 **What do you like best about Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions?** How easy it can be to make changes and push mass updates. The new cloud interface is full of options. **What do you dislike about Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions?** There is not buildin backup tool, they do have autosave keep running last good config. But this is not a backup. You can manually save a copy(download) on the management cloud or on the local login in. If you make a change and then want to look back to compare to a older config you have to have made a manual copy already. My solution was to use a script with an api. Why did I have work on the side of this software to add this? The other issue is the EOL of the product, I have modems which are aging, for LTE bands and unit failures, but are still very useful and working okay. But with the EOL of the product will force me to replace 40 units a few years before I need to, as I lose cloud mangment access altogether as well as security updates. Other vendors may drop a product to best effort with limited support. This brings up the cost for support is high after initial support time, Skin there are other products on the market that have longer life spans, they may not be as easy as Creadlepoint, but have Central management and longer horizons of usefulness. **What problems is Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions solving and how is that benefiting you?** I do not have problems, I have Business needs and Cradlepoint helps address them; the need for edge connectivity as long as the WAN is on the public internet. I have sites on private connectivity for WAN and support basically advised not to do that. ### 2. I don't have many issues reported with these as I see with brands such as TP-Link or NetGear. **What do you dislike about Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions?** Seems very basic. Could be more user friendly and tech friendly by having the lights be more visible. Nothing really makes it stand out. **What problems is Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions solving and how is that benefiting you?** Does not apply to me. I help others use it. ### 3. For the right vertical the product makes sense, for enterprise networks their might be feature disparity. **Recommendations to others considering Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions:** I'd highly recommend that any product meets your requirements. Cradlepoint would be a good fit for many companies out there, but make sure your requirements are met. **What problems is Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions solving and how is that benefiting you?** We were able to setup customers with Cradlepoint to utilize its LTE functionality to provide secondary paths into the network at reasonable prices which was a huge perk. -
