"Great Reporting and Job Matching, but Job Architecture Needs More Depth"
3/5
What do you like best about ERI Salary Assessor?

I really like being able to run advanced reports and export the results to Excel. I also appreciate how easy it is to create custom markets and hybrid roles. Overall, job matching is very simple and straightforward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ERI Salary Assessor?

I really wish the job architecture were a bit stronger. For certain roles, there are only a few levels (I, II, III), and the current setup seems to make the most sense for a managerial career path. It would also be helpful to search specific job families and view all the roles within that family, organized by level. I know job families can be searched already, but being able to see clear career progression paths within each family would be really useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Trusted Compensation Data with Flexible Location-Based Job Mapping"
5/5
What do you like best about ERI Salary Assessor?

It is a trusted compensation source for many positions. We have the ability to review positions by locations, Cost of Living/Labor by locations, and map our jobs to ERI's jobs. We can blend jobs and apply premiums/reductions as needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ERI Salary Assessor?

I wish I could export multiple jobs' ranges in a location instead of having to export them one by one. I end up merging spreadsheets myself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Veera Raj of ERI Salary Assessor

Thank you for your thoughtful review, we’re glad ERI Salary Assessor is helping streamline your compensation analysis and job mapping process. As a quick note, you can export multiple job's ranges at once by adding roles to the Benchmark List page and exporting them together from that page.

"Great ERI Assessor Software Experience!"
4.5/5
What do you like best about ERI Salary Assessor?

ERI Assessor has a vast collection of diverse job titles and descriptions to aid in market pricing jobs. I like that you can customize specifically to local government, which a lot of other HR software doesn't customize that specifically. You can also add premium skills, certifications, and shift work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ERI Salary Assessor?

I don't like that you can't make a hybrid role with a director and manager role. Most director roles have a different platform within the ERI system that is different from the managers and lower tier. However, there are some jobs that are a blend of directors and managers, i.e. Senior Managers, Assistant Directors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy access market salary data but lacking some features"
2.5/5
What do you like best about ERI Salary Assessor?

One of the standout features is the ability to access comp data with just a job title and a few clicks. You can also drill down to geographic areas and ensure you're aligned with companies in your industry and revenue level. The data is updated about ever six weeks, so you're always going to have fairly current data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ERI Salary Assessor?

Where this platform falls short is the inability to account for certain discinctions in a role like a Senior or Lead level. You can assign some default skills and certifications which will adjust their market rate accordingly, but the options are limited. You can define custom skills and certifications, but you have to manually define the market adjustment.

Also there is a compensation management tool, but you have to manually import all your data which is static once it's loaded in there, so that is not very helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
