erase.tools is a web-based video and photo editing platform that removes unwanted elements like text, watermarks, captions, and objects while preserving quality and resolution. Using a selection box interface, its AI rebuilds backgrounds instead of blurring or cropping. It supports MP4, MOV, PNG, and JPG formats without requiring installation. The platform detects static watermarks, tracks moving ones across video timelines, and offers features like object removal, background removal, face blurring, and pixelation. It maintains original resolution and bitrate, ensuring 4K exports remain 4K, with no added watermarks. erase.tools processes up to 50 files simultaneously, applying the same selection across items. Developers can integrate it via an API with JavaScript and Python SDKs. Browser-based processing ensures sensitive files stay on the device for tasks like HEIC to JPG conversion, as these tools run locally without uploading to external servers.
