"Accurate Valuations and Excellent Support Team"
5/5
What do you like best about Eqvista?

My experience with Eqvista's Real-Time Valuation has been excellent. The platform provides immediate, accurate valuations that help us make quicker strategic decisions, especially during fundraising and negotiations. The integration with cap table management simplifies equity oversight and ESOP administration, saving valuable time. I appreciate their expert team, who offer audit-ready, certified valuations with responsive communication. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Eqvista?

One minor downside is that while the valuation reports are comprehensive, the platform could benefit from more customizable reporting options for different investor needs. Still, this is a small limitation compared to the overall value it delivers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The API-Based Backbone of Our Equity and Stock Plan Data"
5/5
What do you like best about Eqvista?

I'm a DevOps engineer working on financial data pipelines I appreciate services that are reliable, secure and built on modern API-first design principles. For equity management, Eqvista provides exactly that. It is easy to use; my finance department can operate it on their own and this makes for reduce quiet requests for my team. “Technical support is very responsive, and the techs are truly technical with clear, concise answers for integration questions.” One of these key points is the high flexibility to adapt. The well-documented API has enabled us to seamlessly pipe Eqvista into our internal admin dashboards and data warehouses and automate the flow of equity data throughout the company, so that everyone has access to the same real-time information without manual exports. It is essential to preserve data integrity within the systems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Eqvista?

It was a "low bar" on implementation but we also spent a lot of time initially mapping and validating our historic equity data effectively to migrate that correctly. This is something that all system transitions deal with, but it’s particularly important for data we depend on. I want to see more native integrations with developer focused tools such as our CI/CD systems or identity providers in order to have more seamless user management. For me I use it to support the integrations and that we are security complaint so low maintenance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The Blockchain-Enabled Business Deserves An API-First, Secure Equity Platform"
5/5
What do you like best about Eqvista?

We want secure, scalable, API-driven systems in our world. What makes Eqvista unique is that we treat the cap table data with the same rigor as our blockchain ledgers. Ease of use is really high for a platform with so much breadth in terms of financial and compliance capabilities relative to some other systems, again key for our non technical finance team. The customer service is knowledgeable and able to answer our in-depth questions about their security measures and data protection. The feature set is solid, but the real winner for me is how easy it was to integrate with their well-documented API. This enables us to automate the flow of data between our equity management and other internal systems for continuity, reducing manual input (the essence of a DevOps philosophy). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Eqvista?

Integration was simple, though for a company with a complicated cap table history we had to have careful data migration and validation process that could 100% accurately bring over things. That's a common overhead, but required for any serious system migration. The api is great, but I'd like to see more out of the box integrations written in our native tongue… :) Dev tools- Something akin to Jira for issue tracking (just not jira;) ) IDP integration, would love to have it just do auto user provision. For me, it's something that gets used as part of integration and security audits but those can come at irregular intervals, yet the platform just mostly chugs along by itself (which in my book is a win). "Seamlessly Managing our Custom Brand Equity from Design to Distribution"
5/5
What do you like best about Eqvista?

Retail is what we do we design, manage supply chains and deliver customer experiences not complicated finance software. Eqvista is a game-changer because it simplifies equity management. Ease of use is the best thing about it; it’s a super friendly platform and can be used by our operations and HR managers without having to have any finance degree. Client success is great patient, plain spoken and available to help walk us through processes such as issuing shares to our top designers or store managers. It seems to us, at our size of brand, as though we have an in-house finance team. It’s invaluable in being able to quickly see who owns what and model future rounds of investment We have planned our growth using the customer level tracking. It’s the top cap table management solution for a creative business such as ours. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Eqvista?

Easy to apply directly for implementation of our current structure. But backdating and typing in the full history of our early founder’s agreements and grants took some concentrated effort to get everything just right. And for a fledgling fashion label this wouldn’t be a real problem. My favorite feature would be an even simpler integration with common retail HR systems to automate new hire onboarding for stock plan management. My usage is intermittent — following our collecting cycles and board meetings — but there when we need it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The Best Cap Table For Startups Scaling As Promised."
5/5
What do you like best about Eqvista?

As a COO, it is my job to help build an efficient, scalable and mistake-free procedure. Eqvista has introduced this operational discipline to our equity management that used to be high risk practiced on a spreadsheet. The platform is extremely user friendly - it's the first system our finance lead can use without coming to me continuously for help. Their customer service is very responsive and capable to field our questions as quickly as we have them, which is important for us to keep the ball rolling. As a logistics company, tracking our cap table in real time is about as necessary as it is to track a truck shipment; there's certainty so that we can make strategic decisions around fund raising, M&A and employee liquidity events. It’s some of the best cap table management software I’ve used, no question. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Eqvista?

The simple fact is that for a company who has been around (and therefore have had their sophisticated history) and so required a dedicated dry run of the data to ensure we were able get into the system by 100% perfect import. This took just one-time operational overhead. The platform does exactly what it’s designed to, but integration was not as plug-n-play with our particular HR software and an “out of the box” connection wasn’t provided, so we had to build a custom API integration ourselves. And I should add that it’s rare for a COO, who isn't steeped in the details every day, to use advanced reporting features often due to how infrequent they are used and yet we need them available to our CFO and board. "Digital Transformation in Equity With Precision and Ease of Management"
5/5
What do you like best about Eqvista?

As a Chief Digital Officer, I’m in the process of digitizing businesses for ease and clarity. Eqvista has helped us to bring our equity process into the 21st century as what was previously a very analog difficult space. Ease of use is a big plus, those involved in your journey that are not equity managers can access and comprehend their equity without the need for lots of training due to the user friendly design. The customer service is phenomenal - prompt and straight forward, can explain complex financial terms in a non-technical manner very important for a cross functional team. It is also fairly fully-featured, especially when it comes to the ability to model various financing scenarios and what that will do to dilution! This is the kind of data-driven insight I require to help you make decisions about your strategic growth. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Eqvista?

The initial implementation was easy enough to set up for simple setup, but achieving an audit of every single historical grant was insanely manually intensive data entry and validation. This is a one time cost for all that moving from disconnected systems to single source of truth. On ease of integration, I’d want something more out-of-the-box beyond the API for example with HR platforms such as HiBob or BambooHR in order to streamline integrations to onboard new hires automatically when equity is granted. It's regular usage for me personally, where the value is static as a document of record for our board and investors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The Cap Table Management and Investor Readiness Platform for Every Startup"
5/5
What do you like best about Eqvista?

As a CEO, I’m faced with strategic growth, investor relations and risk management. Eqvista is the single source of truth for our most valuable asset: equity. The plat as one always wants to make data driven decisions when deciding on fundraising or if you are looking at potential M&A opportunities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Eqvista?

Implementation was easier, though one of my finance leads had to spend time making sure our old spreadsheets and legal docs were migrated completely over to Auth0, which is no small feat for a company with as lengthy and complicated equity history as we have. This was a moment-in-time project, but is worth sharing for others CEOs who are intending to do this in the future. The platform itself is fine, but the integration with our particular accounting software (and eventual risk // management tool) was very much bespoke. A wider marketplace of off-the-shelf connectors would make it more useful. Me, I use it intermittently, but having the assurance that the data is right and available when I have a strategic question makes it worth every penny. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A vital equity operating system for a fast growth tech startup."
5/5
What do you like best about Eqvista?

In the world of tech, your equity is your currency, and spreadsheets poses an operational risk. Eqvista has become our centralized equity operating system. I find it incredibly easy to use. The interface is logical and clear, so I can manage complex equity structures without a finance team. The customer support is excellent. They are responsive and technical and can explain the subtle details which is critical for compliance. It's impressive that there are so many features, including all of the different security types (options, RSUs) and the capability to integrate 409A valuations directly in the cap table. It provides you with real-time visibility, a vital component of strategic planning and investor updates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Eqvista?

The first part of the ease of implementation really was our own vigilance. Migrating historical data from a number of different legal docs and spreadsheets, civilizing it into perfectly accurate shape required some focused effort, though the support team was helpful. This does not matter if you are a greenfield company. The platform itself issolid albeit I'd mention that we are looking forward to native integration with our HRIS (BambooHR) and had to use a custom API connection that hopefully will turn into an off the shelf feature! Frequency of use for advanced reporting features is occasional for me as a founder but our CFO uses more often. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Strategic Equity Management That Supports Our Brand Vision and Team Growth"
5/5
What do you like best about Eqvista?

As CMO of a fashion retail brand, Eqvista has become an unexpected but crucial tool in our marketing leadership toolkit. While my primary focus is brand building and customer acquisition, the platform provides complete transparency into our company's equity structure, which is essential when attracting top marketing talent. What I value most is how it helps me articulate the long-term value proposition to potential hires – being able to show clear, professional equity management has helped us secure three senior marketing roles that we otherwise would have lost to competitors. The cap table visualization is particularly effective for helping non-finance team members understand their stake in our company's growth. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Eqvista?

While excellent for equity management, I'd appreciate more marketing-specific integrations – particularly the ability to connect equity performance with marketing ROI metrics. The platform could also benefit from more customizable reporting for department-level equity allocation discussions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent Value for Cap Table and ESOP Management"
5/5
What do you like best about Eqvista?

I find Eqvista's cap table management software to be an excellent tool for handling our complex equity structure. The platform is intuitive, secure, and offers great transparency, which has helped streamline our equity tracking and improve communication with shareholders. Its ability to manage various equity grants, including ESOPs, and provide real-time updates ensures accuracy and reduces administrative overhead. I also appreciate their responsive customer support, which has been helpful during onboarding and ongoing use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Eqvista?

A minor downside is that the platform occasionally slows down when dealing with very large files, which can affect efficiency during peak times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
