"A must have for any medical professional"

What do you like best about Epocrates?

There is a reason this application is the number one medical reference application and why every physician I know has this on their phone or tablet. It's absolutely amazing for checking for drug interactions easily and quickly. It is the most comprehensive application I have found for this use. It's also great that you can check evidence based medicine resources for your diagnosis and treatment plans. It even includes herbal medications and supplements that were never taught in medical school but so many patients are using these days. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Epocrates?

I hate that you have to pay so much for the full version. I also do not like that it has become closely associated with pharmaceutical companies, making me wonder about the long term plans for the application. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Outstanding drug reference for clinicians"
5/5
What do you like best about Epocrates?

I appreciate how easy it is to use Epocrates. I use it primarily as a drug reference, and it is fast to load and easy to find the information I need all in one place. It is my go-to clinical tool for drug reference. It also has a very easy to use drug-drug interaction checker that I reference as needed in my clinical work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Epocrates?

I dislike that for some drugs, the trade name link is useless because the information has been removed since the trade name drug has been discontinued. In that case it would be much easier if the drug information for the generic of the drug were available in that link, of if it were possible to click on a link directly on that page rather than have to go back to the previous page and find the correct drug that does have the full prescribing information.
