What do you like best about Epicor Prophet 21?

its simple to use and fast. Very effective. Support side is fantastic and issues get resolved quickly!

What do you dislike about Epicor Prophet 21?

there's alot of different portals that sometime can get confusing. Error codes come up often but can be fixed. Sometimes unlinks from the server. Using it everyday does sometime slow the system down Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Epicor Prophet 21?

The on-prem,. But that is going away. Currently SQL database access, but again that is going away. Complete software solution for the entire company and all departments Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Epicor Prophet 21?

The cost and all of the additional costs. The lack of visibilty with invoices. Having to cancel a service 90 days before renewal but no invoice or renewal sent in advance. Being forced to the cloud and the massive increase in cost Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Epicor Prophet 21?

I like using Epicor Prophet 21 because it's easy to use and provides accurate data. The whole customer experience works well for me. I also value the workflow of processes that keep data updated and offer good follow-up tools on open transactions, along with visibility on actual versus required stock. What do you dislike about Epicor Prophet 21?

The scheduling of production, assembly, and service work as well as the field requirements for the service department don't work as well for me. We're doing manufacturing and service, which is a challenge to handle in Epicor Prophet 21. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Epicor Prophet 21?

I appreciate the continuous innovation of Epicor Prophet 21. It's not a product stuck in the past, and I like the features that keep coming out, most of which help me directly with the administration of the system. Since we are being moved to the cloud, many functions would be impossible without the many executors implemented and coming soon. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Epicor Prophet 21?

Speed of support is my biggest concern. Many times it seems my ticket is not ready and understood before I get the first response, then it wastes time as I restate the issue. I have a few tickets that have been open for more than a week. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Epicor Prophet 21?

I like Epicor Prophet 21 for its ability to handle a vast amount of transactions and track who bought what, which is valuable for my company's distribution needs. The integration with ECM is also a highlight because they communicate well with each other, and I appreciate how the direct ship confirmation interacts with ECM. What do you dislike about Epicor Prophet 21?

I really like how Epicor Prophet 21 is very customizable to tailor to our unique business. I value the QTO wizard, the ability to import, and data extensibility in the system. The great SQL architecture is another aspect that stands out to me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Epicor Prophet 21 is very slow and cumbersome for quick orders with a customer standing there. A lot of prep work was needed with a P21 expert. The system has infinite possibilities, which is good, but it was a lot to learn initially. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

P21 has improved over past few months, but UI still feels outdated. Less Customization options from user point of view. SKU level fields are difficult to maintain. Oracle integration causes pricing issues when two currencies are used. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Epicor Prophet 21?

Web application is a lot easier to use then the old desktop version. I really enjoy the inline search function and that it is very user freindly for keyboard users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It has a lot of bugs, especially if using a mouse. It's way easier to use if you like to use a keyboard. Some of the updates need to be reviewed better too before release Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
