In helping us automate many of our current manual processes that our current ERP apparently is unable to do.

**Official Response from Sam Malecek:**

  ### 2. Effortless Sales Tracking with Limited Customization

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Kinetic?**

I use Kinetic for sales order management and tracking because it allows me to easily view our sales orders in real time and track status from the time of entry to invoice and shipment. I like that it is easy to use, and I can quickly find what I'm looking for.

**What do you dislike about Kinetic?**

Some of the reporting features on the sales end are challenging, and don't provide all the detail I would like. It is difficult if not impossible to modify the reports to get the information I need without paying for separate customization through FP&A for example.

**What problems is Kinetic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kinetic allows me to easily view our sales orders in real time and track status from entry to invoice and shipment.

  ### 3. Simple Interface, but Needs Streamlined Data Export

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

I like that Kinetic provides a full general ledger solution and that its FP&A adds report writing capabilities. The simple web-based user interface is another aspect I appreciate since it's available anywhere, on demand.

**What do you dislike about Kinetic?**

Exporting data to Excel is now a two-step process that requires download and save; previous versions downloaded data would open automatically in Excel. We had difficulty due to issues with the external consultant assigned. The financial consultant did not understand our company or needs and did not understand how to set up our general ledger.

**What problems is Kinetic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Kinetic for accounting as it offers a full general ledger solution and FP&A adds report writing capabilities. The simple web-based interface is available anywhere, on demand.

  ### 11. Versatile but Sluggish Cloud Performance

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Kinetic?**

I find Kinetic to be versatile, which is a big plus. The filters and searches are handy for everyday users, allowing my team to look up many things on their own instead of constantly needing specific queries set up. Additionally, the DMT's are handy, making certain processes more convenient.

**What do you dislike about Kinetic?**

Cloud version is slow, and there's a lot of clicking needed to get processes completed. I don't know if being on the cloud causes the response time to be slow.

**What problems is Kinetic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Kinetic for manufacturing scheduling and procurement. Its versatility and handy filters and searches help my team look up information independently, reducing the need for custom queries.

**Official Response from Sam Malecek:**

I use Kinetic for inventory and purchasing, which helps prevent overstocking and stockout situations.

  ### 13. Good Software with Performance Challenges

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

  ### 14. Kinetic is not ready for full browser only. Lots of questions.

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Sporting Goods | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Kinetic?**

Not having to install client on every pc in company.

**What do you dislike about Kinetic?**

Moving to cloud and web based only has introduced a plentiful amount of bugs, outside issues with browsers, edge agent issues, remaking dashboards, etc etc. Some things are easier but multiple things are much harder. Speed isn't really improved at all either.

**What problems is Kinetic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It works enough but isn't solving anything. We fight more learning the new system than anything.

**Official Response from Sam Malecek:**

> Thanks for sharing your experience—we appreciate the honesty. It’s great to hear the browser-based approach reduces the need for installs across your team.

At the same time, we understand your concerns around bugs, performance, and the effort required to relearn and rebuild workflows. Those are critical areas, and your feedback highlights where improvements in stability and usability can make a real difference. We like Kinetic because it is self-updating and offers high availability. The interface is easy to get around for users. Upgrading to Kinetic in the cloud helps with security and availability. Additionally, the self-updating feature means there's no extra work required from our end, just ensuring the update works in pilot.

I like the support from Kinetic. I also find the reorder simplicity to configure parts really convenient. I appreciate how I can configure the bill of materials one time and reuse it over and over.

**What do you dislike about Kinetic?**

I don't like how the BOM piece parts are handled as consumables in Kinetic. It would be better if the piece parts could be allocated at the job start but not picked, as the item is shipped to the floor as a consumable. Also, I wasn't involved with the initial setup, but it was not configured correctly.

**What problems is Kinetic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Kinetic for manufacturing orders, job tracking, part maintenance, and job scheduling.

**What do you like best about Kinetic?**

I like that with Kinetic I can go far back to version 2021.2 without needing to upgrade, which has made it easier to work with the system.

I use Kinetic to keep track of the business financials.

**Official Response from Sam Malecek:**

I use Kinetic for order and inventory transactions.

Kinetic solves making parts, MRP, and financial reporting. Its browser-based nature supports multiple devices, and the modern UI is an improvement.

**Official Response from Sam Malecek:**
