Creating end points so we can manage custom things easily. Solar has nice features that make it easy to customize but I would like more information on best practices. They are changing the integration environment to be easier. **What do you dislike about Epicor Eclipse?** Eclipse software is becoming more progressive but in the past they did not have a lot of functionality we needed so now we are in the predicament that we have some custom code. The support is also challenging and they not communicate very well. We have built external integrated applications for mobile devices over the last several years that do what Eclipse could not at the time. Epicor is now showing that integrations are a priority and showing a road map to key functions as automated AP Invoice process, Automated order process, better mobile order entry, etc. This will be great for certain size organizations. However, Companies of our size have already developed and committed to technologies for these needs due to the Epicor Eclipse slower response. Short Version: Eclipse does not present a TRUE argument for a Strategic Advantage in todays world. ### 5. Having the Eclipse API's certainly is helpful and benefits us versus our previous ERP. It's not intuitive and it takes a lot of time to learn how to effectively navigate all the features. IT managers administering the platform need to collaborate with users to ensure that proper authorization keys are assigned so that functionality isn't limited where it doesn't have to be. **What problems is Epicor Eclipse solving and how is that benefiting you?** Essentially everything revolves around the orders in Eclipse and our business benefits a lot from being able to visualize order history. Because of human input, there is potential for "ugly" data or just incorrect data in general. **What problems is Epicor Eclipse solving and how is that benefiting you?** We solve all sorts of problems with Eclipse. The main problem we solve is the problem of maintaining inventory with sales orders, purchase orders, and returns. It also makes it easy to find out who did what work with log features. This allows us to clear up any confusion that may have been caused by errors in receiving or errors on the clerical side of things. ### 40. Take advantage of everything within the community. Join the Users Group, attend Insights, Encounter, and any on-site trainings Epicor has to offer. Explore using a 3rd Party resource such as Zerion for consulting or advise. Tracking and other proof of delivery options has been a wonderful improvement form our previous system.
