I love how straightforward and intuitive the app is. My favorite feature is seeing the map of available desks and who else is coming in that day. This way I can sit next to my team and collaborate with them when we're all in the office. **What do you dislike about Envoy Workplace?** it's really easy to use and I don't have any complaints. Possibly adding a feature where it does not let you book desks after the end of the workday would be helpful - I once went in to reserve a desk for the next day but forgot to update the day in the UI and reserved a desk for that same day even though it was 7 pm. New calendar events appear very quickly on the app, making sure that no one can double book a room before the devices sync up. **What do you dislike about Envoy Workplace?** Some features like removing a background image from the iPad (currently you can only add or edit the image, not remove it once it's been set), having a custom name for an impromptu meeting, or being able to see on the iPad who is attending the meeting would be useful things. **What problems is Envoy Workplace solving and how is that benefiting you?** Envoy is helping solve our need to make sure our rooms are being used as efficiently as possible and freeing rooms that have been booked but aren't being used. It works as expected, and is super helpful for our office. Navigating a full office has historically been a stressful experience when coming in from a WFH situation, but Envoy eliminates that stress and helps me easily find a desk to call home for my in-office visits! **What do you dislike about Envoy Workplace?** There is nothing that I dislike about Envoy's desk booking and space management solutions. The solution executes its purpose with simplicity and have not had any issues. **What problems is Envoy Workplace solving and how is that benefiting you?** Envoy simplifies the complexities of being a remote first / hybrid employee. Without Envoy, my occasional trips to the office would likely be a mad scramble. However, with Envoy, i can easily find and reserve a desk for the week. ### 9. I like that you walk past the room and see on the iPad when it's booked for that particular day. **What do you dislike about Envoy Workplace?** The iPads frequently seem not to synch. So the room is booked in Envoy and on Outlook, but shows as empty outside the actual room. Also, you have to be present to click "Check in" - the push notification is not always functioning. So if you're booking for your boss, you cannot guarantee that they will punch in to keep the room, and sometimes, the person who booked it (assistant) is WFH and not able to run over and check in - so the room reverts to FREE. **What problems is Envoy Workplace solving and how is that benefiting you?** Nothing that Outlook couldn't resolve, frankly. ### 10. It looks like they have acquired a company that will assist with bringing this solution up to par with other solutions. Some of my main dislikes: * Doesn't do "smart" booking times. Should have the ability to end at a normal time to make the booking make sense for users that don't book at the panels. * They have a background image option you can add as an admin, however there is 0 documentation on which size image to use, there is no option to remove a photo, and no preview when you add one. * For device setup, it would be great to be able to filter by location instead of searching through a list of every room which is a pain when you have a couple hundred rooms. **What problems is Envoy Workplace solving and how is that benefiting you?** Helped us have a quick way for employees to reserve rooms and also quickly see at a glance which rooms are available without referencing the room's calendars directly. ### 12. One of my favorite things about it is that if someone forgets to sign in, I can do it myself from the main page. The ability to be able to upload vaccine records has been amazing. For my employees, they just enter their name and within seconds, they are signed in as being on-site (this is great for emergency evacuations. I can just pull the app up on my phone and filter visitors by who is signed in, and then I know who I all need to account for). With visitors and contractors, we can change it and add required fields as well as who they are here to see. I have my company phone on me at all times, so it's nice getting that notification that someone is here to see me. Additionally, we can customize each visitor sign in to include required videos or forms that our company requires for certain types of visits (NDA's, Covid Acknowledgements, Contractor Safety video etc). **What do you dislike about Envoy Workplace?** In the mobile app, I would like any admins to have the ability to sign visitors in/out like I can on the desktop. **What problems is Envoy Workplace solving and how is that benefiting you?** Envoy helps us manage visitors and contractors. It helps us maintain documents and know when they need to resign documents that have expired. It also allows us to account for employees and visitors in emergency situations by accessing the signed in list from our mobile apps (if set up as an admin). ### 16. A wishlist item would be: if Envoy automatically printed out a sticker or something that says "Received on (date)" maybe with different colors each week. This way we could know, at a glance, which packages have been there for X number of weeks, and prioritize bugging the owners of those packages to claim them. We've had a lot of issues with guests coming in and having completely different screens from our employees, so security doesn't know what to do with them, or they can't get a stamp at all. It would be nice to have more than just that screen of what days people came in, would be great to get that in a csv form. **Recommendations to others considering Envoy Workplace:** It's worth the cost!
