We've had an excellent experience using Entrust IDV, formerly Onfido, as part of our customer onboarding process. Since implementing the platform, we've seen a noticeable reduction in fraud attempts while making identity verification much smoother for genuine customers. The user experience is intuitive and efficient, allowing customers to complete verification with minimal friction. This has improved our onboarding journey, reduced abandonment, and helped more customers complete the process successfully. One of the biggest benefits has been the improvement in verification clear rates. The combination of document verification, biometric checks, and intelligent decisioning has enabled more legitimate customers to pass verification on their first attempt, while also reducing manual reviews and operational workload. The customer support has also been excellent. Jeet and Sandeep have been highly responsive, knowledgeable, and proactive in helping us resolve issues and optimize our setup. Their support has made a significant difference to our overall experience with the platform. Entrust IDV provides a strong balance between fraud prevention, regulatory compliance, and a seamless customer experience. Before implementing Entrust IDV (formerly Onfido), we faced the challenge of balancing strong fraud prevention with a frictionless onboarding experience. Manual identity verification was time-consuming, increased operational costs, and often resulted in legitimate customers abandoning the onboarding process due to unnecessary friction. Entrust IDV has helped us solve these challenges by automating identity verification with accurate document authentication, biometric verification, and liveness detection. This has significantly reduced fraudulent onboarding attempts while making the verification process much faster and easier for genuine customers. As a result, we've seen higher verification clear rates, fewer manual reviews, faster customer onboarding, and improved conversion rates. Onfido provides a secure and reliable environment Coinhako's NFTF onboarding solutions. Since we started using Onfido, we haven’t had any lapses in detecting fraudulent IDs. We have trust in Onfido's capability as our NFTF onboarding solution. Onfido’s pricing is reasonable and flexible, and it fits our business model well. Our Onfido representative is supportive with requests and helpful when assisting us with assessments for regulators. Onfido also offers a clean dashboard that’s easy to navigate, even for new joiners. Onfido was also easy to integrate into our CRM system, with a flexible, modern API toolkit that’s well suited for crypto exchanges where most of the business is handled online. I find Entrust IDV, formerly Onfido, very helpful in weeding out fraudulent activity, duplicate accounts, and stolen identities. It tracks and prevents issues, especially when folks might try to create new accounts due to a balance owed on an original account. The face scanning feature is particularly useful for identifying users with stolen licenses who create multiple accounts under different names. When I look at some of the background information or the watch list activity, it could sometimes be a laundry list of just people with the same name, so it's not very useful. Let's say it does have maybe just, like, a two to three names on there. It's just not very applicable for what we use it for. It hasn't really been useful, it's just not impactful. The support we receive is also a big part of the experience. Rebecca and James have been my main points of contact and they’re both great to work with: responsive, knowledgeable and always happy to help when we have questions or need something looked into. I like Entrust IDV's (formerly Onfido) acceptance rate performance, which has been consistently higher than other vendors. I also appreciate the availability of fraud training included in the contract, which has received extremely positive feedback from Wise participants. I value the long-standing partnership, ongoing for at least 7 years, and how approachable and eager to support Entrust IDV's team is, especially Kris, Richard, Ross, and Luke, who are, or used to be, our main points of contact. Their consistent and reliable acceptance rates show that they can properly review our customers, making it a great thing. Having Entrust IDV's team ready to support makes my life and my team's lives easier to achieve our goals. What do you dislike about Entrust IDV, formerly Onfido? The "all or nothing" ML opt-in account level is inflexible. We need granular control, for example, using only QA sample data for model training. While ML improves fraud detections (false Acceptance), it doesn't address false Rejection, which is a key business priority, especially in Brazil. The high proportion of false Rejections for Brazilian IDs, which are often overturned on appeal, causes unnecessary customer off-boarding and remains unresolved. A more flexible training approach based on QA sample data to improve false Rejection issues would be valuable, particularly for the specific needs of Brazilian documents.
