Entrata is very user friendly once you understand the layout, and it keeps everything centralized in one platform. I like that leasing, resident accounts, work orders, and reporting are all integrated, which makes day to day property management much more efficient. The reporting tools are especially helpful for tracking occupancy, delinquency, and leasing performance. As a leasing agent who uses Entrata every day, it can sometimes feel a little slow or require more clicks than necessary to complete simple tasks. During busy seasons when I’m working with multiple prospects at once, switching between tabs and screens can slow me down. It also takes time to fully learn where everything is located, so there’s a learning curve for new team members. What problems is Entrata solving and how is that benefiting you? Entrata is solving the problem of having leasing, resident management, and reporting spread across multiple systems. Instead of juggling spreadsheets, emails, and separate platforms, everything is centralized in one place. This helps reduce miscommunication, keeps prospect and resident information organized, and allows me to quickly access applications, lease documents, and payment details. As a leasing agent, this benefits me by saving time and helping me stay organized during busy leasing seasons. I can easily track follow ups, monitor application progress, and view availability in real time, which makes the leasing process smoother for both me and the prospect. I really like that I can call Entrata whenever I have an issue, and it usually gets resolved pretty quickly. When there are large-scale issues that need to be escalated, it takes a long time for the problems to get fixed, especially when it impacts the financials of the building. We've had issues with getting new Entrata features set up, like rent reporting or master insurance policies. If it's an add-on feature, we always have significant issues with our tenants and property managers being able to access it and receiving any sort of response from our representatives. Also, the initial setup seemed easy, but once properties opened, we realized there were significant issues not noticed earlier, causing problems for residents and leading to some losses in residents. The maintenance tracking feature helps us assign, monitor, and complete work orders efficiently, improving response time and keeping residents informed throughout the process. The reporting tools also make it easy to monitor property performance, which is a big plus. Overall, Entrata serves as a leasing one-stop shop, streamlining operations effectively. There are areas that could be improved, like unnecessary clicks, hold-ups with transfers, and difficulty in generating quotes when switching units.
