When I received a survey for Chaos a few years ago and saw that the whole survey was about the Chaos logo, I knew we were all in trouble -- Enscape had been taken over by a giant corporation that was going to expend 90% of its resources on marketing (telling everybody how wonderful the product is), while expending very little on ACTUALLY making it a good product. My suspicions have been confirmed by Enscape software crashes -- in my experience, Enscape is becoming less stable.

What I REALLY want to warn potential users of Chaos products is this: watch your credit card! Chaos' policy is to automatically renew your subscription without warning, and if you complain, they will tell you that you must provide THREE MONTH'S notice that you do not wish to renew. I think Enscape 3D is an excellent rendering tool because its use is quite easy and intuitive. The utility and material libraries are very practical, and its material editor is also something I really enjoy. I’m unable to use it on a workstation that has more than one version of ArchiCAD installed. For instance, if I have ArchiCAD 25, 27 and 29 installed, Enscape only works on ArchiCAC 29. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like how easy Enscape 3D is to navigate and how quickly I can change materials and render videos and 3D shots. It's really convenient in meetings to switch between models and scenes instantly and to change materials for every asset to find the best output. I use Enscape 3D to design scenes for audiovisual content, such as cinema and advertising. What I like the most is the ease of the live rendering interface, which makes rendering easy for scene approval.
