It’s a great way for companies that aren’t all in one office or even the same area/state to team build.

Can feel like a popularity contest, especially when you’re the new kid on the block.

Because I’m new it’s been more of a learning experience so far. Learning about my colleagues, their positions at the company, and even some personalities. Benefits: keeps the company connected in a fun, “now” way, and again can even be good for team building

Dashboard UI can be a little better and should give an insight on positives and negatives

Engagedly is one the best software available in the market when it comes to comparing the performance of an employ. You can always check a timeline of his growth spiral (if its going up or down). Also easy to define KRAs for performance management.

Most importantly we can keep a track of the the positives and negatives of an employee with a timeline and form a growth graph out of it.

Easy to access online. Generally user friendly and intuitive.

I feel like it hasn't allowed us to give as effective reviews and goal setting documentation as we've had in the past. I'm not sure if that's the system or the way we are using it.

Really love the leadership potential graph!

I did really like the function that allows you to rate the employee and a graph then helps show leadership potential - that visual was enlightening and helped us understand more comprehensively potential.

**What do you like best about Engagedly?**

The user experience. The site is easy to navigate and simple to explain when doing site demos to employees. Creating badges and praising people helps us connect as a national company. We are just getting into performance reviews and this process has been great to introduce. 

**What do you dislike about Engagedly?**

I haven't gotten into the goals modules changes/updates just yet, but our whole company (myself included) disliked the fact that if you set a quantity goal, it automatically reverts back to percentages when doing check-ins. For some reason, it would revert. It's also tough to get a proper orientation on the badge photos.

**Recommendations to others considering Engagedly:**

I personally think this would be hard to administer to a huge organization. ALL the site administrators would need to meet regularly and be on the same capability level. It's tough when I understand a module, but other site administrators can't get a grasp on it. Depending on how many admins you have, you could have one per module. But I believe everyone should have complete understanding. Sharing templates, pushing stuff to the library, all that is great, but everyone needs to be on the same page.

Communication & transparency, especially with goals, encouraging ongoing and open feedback.

The solution is so easy to use that promotes adoption and collaboration between managers and individual contributors. Engagedly facilitate the feedback with the frequent check-ins not only from managers but from peers making the feedback a habit. The dashboards help to review the goals for the team in an effortless manner.

At first the configuration of goals was a little bit confusing, however with a few minutes working on, it became clear

Simple, efficient and the support staff act very promptly on any type of requests or help needed. The customer service is just beyond exceptional! I can also pull up past reviews to check if there is any progress. The reminders are also very helpful and ensure you are on track for deadlines.

**What do you dislike about Engagedly?**

I can't personalize my account. Should be able to chat on the platform if something needs to be changed during performance reviews, this would be easier as the recipient would get a notification.

They should get to it already

It has allowed me to be able to view past reviews. I can also see my manager's feedback without having to meet face to face. By using Engagedly we moved away from using spreadsheets during performance reviews as this was hectic since you had to have a spreadsheet for each of your reportees, not ideal.

nothing that is to dislike, but honestly we only use this tool once a year.

I like my account representative and how much attention they try to give their client

**What do you dislike about Engagedly?**

Everything else. The product must be built from the ground up by you, it's really difficult to use when you don't really get training and when you ask for something and it's not done right the first time it can become a nightmare. Here I am a year later and feel like I have failed. They also updated the program to make it less user friendly too (meaning adding unnecessary additional steps to complete what was once a simple click).

LEARN BEFORE IMPLEMENTATION!!! A lot of start ups demand immediate solutions. Fight back with your executive teams if you are not confident in the product and process you are about to push.

**What problems is Engagedly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I think Engagedly is a young company that needs work in executing for a company. If they can have a dedicated person walk through the program with the right client(s) from the get-co it might resolve potential future issues. I realized that the product is not that bad, but once you have encountered problems, it is difficult to convince a company otherwise that issues can be resolved. No offense but overall I am not a fan.

**What do you like best about Engagedly?**

Engagedly is a robust platform designed to help make employee engagement and review an organized and user-friendly process.  It's easy to customize the existing templates or create your own unique templates.  We really appreciate that users have accounts and can log in to complete self reviews, peer reviews, as well as access their goals and other meeting notes all in one place.

User support from Engagedly is excellent and responsive, and they take our suggestions into careful consideration.  

We are a smaller business (~35 People) and Engagedly works well for us - though I could also see it being a well organized and powerful tool for organizations with may employees and layers of management.

**What do you dislike about Engagedly?**

Sometimes it can be a bit of a challenge to navigate as some parts aren't intuitive.  That said, user support (using the help desk, message boards, or the written and video help) is excellent.

It would be nice to be able to incorporate a wage grid into the program but this isn't a huge deal.  

**Recommendations to others considering Engagedly:**

This is a nice, simple option with a very fair pricing scheme. 

**What problems is Engagedly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Organization of employee reviews and keeping all information in one place, easily accessible, is a huge win for us.  Being able to access everything from a web browser enhances the user experience as well.

I like the simplicity of they layout.   

**What do you dislike about Engagedly?**

I think with better training guides or workshops it'd be easier to understand and navigate the platform. A lot of times you try to do what the customer wants with out going into detail about what the platform is capable of. It's capable of a lot but we only see about 15%.

**Recommendations to others considering Engagedly:**

Either have a clear vision of what you are looking for or be open to ideas and suggestions to create an amazing platform for your company.

**What problems is Engagedly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One issue is the log in issue. It would make sense that you have a registration process where people can use a username to log in vs. an email. Not everyone in a company with 1000+ Employees follows simple directions or have this kind of information. Especially when you're dealing with people as young as 15 and as old as 79.

I like that we can have all in one template per employee : goals, review questions, review notes and one on one notes.

As admin user I feel is not that intuitive to set up the modules and not that flexible to add/remove features in the templates. We use bamboohr and I have a very good experience as admin user because is very friendly user.

Ask many many question during training with product managner of engagedly

We have been working in the perfomance review for employees so we can have all in one template that includes : goals, performance review, review notes, one on ones.

i wish that within side Engagedly there was a time off PTO tracker.

ENgagedly is our sole platform for Performance reviews and houses all of our policies. It's great for sharing updates with our team.

I like that it's pretty user friendly and I like the survey portion is pretty great.

**What do you dislike about Engagedly?**

The main reason I use it is for performance management and they have not gotten this done. I am looking for employees to be able to submit goals through the performance management tool and get them approved- then submit results. Right now they can only submit results and it's a bit frustrating on their end and mine. It's a 2 step process- enter goals and them import to review but you can't submit.

Performance management and quarterly goals- it's given us a platform but not much of a way to manage it the way we want

**What do you like best about Engagedly?**

Powerful feature-set, easy to use as a User. The Learning tool has been very helpful with distributing knowledge across our organization (200 employees spanning across the US/UK). Customer Service is excellent - bugs have been fixed same day, or next day. Noticeable uptick in employees recognizing each others good work. Employee evaluations have been much more streamlined. 

**What do you dislike about Engagedly?**

As an Admin, there's quite a bit of onboarding and setup to best benefit from Engagedly. Some parts of the product seem overly-complicated. I wish the Rewards system had more options, for things like Amazon gift cards, company swag, etc. 

**What problems is Engagedly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Employee engagement, communication, and awareness. Our organization spans across the US & UK, and Engagedly helps us all maintain contact, and understand / respect the work accomplished by other departments.

I enjoy that modern feel of the platform like the praise wall, easy access to employees as an administrator role, and it's functionality. 

**What do you dislike about Engagedly?**

Having to create a new template each mid year and year end cycle is not ideal. I wish the template was for the entire year. I also wish it had the freedom for each department to simply type in goals specific to their department that stayed through the whole year instead of making a template for every department.

Technology was easy to use but also the onboarding process was super simple and Engagedly was very helpful.

Service has dropped slightly from original implementation.

Option to view everything at a glance is great. When having performance conversations with the team members, managers find it particularly interesting when they can view the past reviews, 360 degree evaluations, courses taken, etc. In addition to it, the dashboards are helpful as well to monitor progress on regular basis.

**What do you dislike about Engagedly?**

Platform is slow at times in case of multiple users which hampers the process when we are conducting refresher training for all staff members prior to annual appraisals or annual goal setting process. 
The system does not offer instant chat option which might make people use the system more often, 

**Recommendations to others considering Engagedly:**

It is an extremely useful too and it's easy to use. 

**What problems is Engagedly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Regular feedback and updates on your performance. 
Monitoring is easier
Viewing past reviews and 360 degree evaluation while conducting annual appraisal. This information is handy when having one-on-one discussion on performance
360 degree evaluation is helpful 
Feedback module is also a good platform to seek feedback. Though continuously pushing for it is a difficult task. Once it is being fully utilized, it will help us in benefiting more from the platform. 
Regular followup reminders from the system also help in getting reviews filled on time. 
We have developed a lot of content in house and Engagedly has helped us use the learning management platform to ensure that it is easily accessible to all along with quiz and assignment options to monitor employee performance.

I love being able to share experiences with my co workers who are in separate locations.  We are able to see what is going on with our other staff and customers and all of the fun that they are having.

I wish there were some things that were more user friendly.   Sometimes the review process is a little tricky, but it is getting better all the time!

It is a great tool to help build a team over multiple locations.

highly customizable.  Engagedly is a good tool to centralize performance management and notify users of all the tasks that need to be completed per the process defined by the company.

**What do you dislike about Engagedly?**

UX could improve.  Takes too many clicks to get where you need.  It would help if there were video tutorials available and easily accessible to help new users understand how to use the tool

The review process is set up so that it can be as much or little as you want it to be. The tools to create reviews are robust and the other features like surveys and learning courses are great too.

**What do you dislike about Engagedly?**

The learning curve to get initial feedback cycles and 360 degree reviews is a little tough to figure out. More setup training or videos tutorials may help.

**What problems is Engagedly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Engagedly to facilitate performance reviews as well as capture regular Praise / Feedback that we can look back on throughout the year. We also use it to facilitate HR updates to the staff and make sure they are up to speed on new policies and changes.

I like the simplicity of the platform and how easy it is to navigate. It has most of the items that we need for our business purposes.

**What do you dislike about Engagedly?**

The performance area could be tightened up- there seems to be missing parts where employees should be able to submit their goals and have the manager approve and then open it back up to submit results. Instead there is no real way to see if employees have submitted their goals unless we pull a report or go into individual people. There should just be a two step process and there isnt.

Our organization enjoys the social aspect of it. It's basically a workplace Facebook with productive content!

To move through system it creates multiple tabs which can get jumbled. Would like the ability to manipulate the points system when employees cash in points.

We use this for a very robust review process, and people can follow along and fill-in-the-blank fairly well.

It's a real pain in the butt to create and execute campaigns. Something that should take a half hour can take HOURS

We use Engagedly exclusively for employee reviews. It's too cumbersome to use it for anything else.

**What do you like best about Engagedly?**

We chose this solution because of the fact that they had a user friendly app.  Our goal is to change the performance review from a once a year process to more of an ongoing dialogue between managers and employees.  This app allows both parties to establish expectations through use of goals, monitor performance through shared feedback and private notes and to measure performance.  The other positive factors are that higher level managers also have visibility to ensure that goals are properly aligned and assigned and can also monitor performance on an ongoing basis.

**What do you dislike about Engagedly?**

The system is very agile and can be customized in a number of ways, sometimes, it can be challenging to figure out where to make adjustments to implement the appropriate features.  Anytime I have run into this issue, I reach out to the support team and I generally have an answer back within a couple of hours.

**What problems is Engagedly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are hoping that this tool will make it easier for employees to be actively engaged in their own performance management.

**What do you like best about Engagedly?**

The ability to facilitate the complete cycle of employee reviews - including self-reviews, manager reviews , 360 peer reviews, and goal setting.  The review cycles are easy to set up for administrators and are quite flexible in how they are administered.  Employees appreciate the fact that they receive email reminders when the due-date is approaching.

I also like the ability for both the reviewers and reviewed to see their job description and prior reviews.  We keep the peer reviews confidential for only the reviewer is able to see.

**What do you dislike about Engagedly?**

While it's difficult to find any fault in the system and process, I suppose the user interface could be improved somewhat to make it feel more modern and up to date.

**Recommendations to others considering Engagedly:**

Highly recommended.  Engagedly mirrored the manual performance review process we previously used and was a natural extension of that process.  Easy to use and administer and good client support.

Prior to deploying Engagedly, our firm compiled reviews manually - Word documents.  Engagedly provides a comprehensive, easy to use platform for compiling and managing the employee review process.

**What do you like best about Engagedly?**

I like the main feed feature the best. It not only lets me know when there are upcoming company events ( or holidays I get off ) but, also lets me know birthdays and other information. Recently we have also started to send out employee spotlight articles through the news feed. With this we created a pdf template to use for 
each article we create and have been able to upload the article into the news feed. Not only is the uploading and posting of the pdf seamless but, users are able to view the pdf straight from Engagedly without having to download the pdf. 

**What do you dislike about Engagedly?**

I don't necessarily love the Home Library, although It's helpful and interesting to upload the video into the platform for all of the users to see it would be helpful to be able to link videos  from Youtube or Vimeo  it would not only allow us to link inspirational videos we have seen but improve load times when users are watching the videos. 

**Recommendations to others considering Engagedly:**

Engagedely is definitely something you should use often to get the most of the features making sure to get notifications, give feedback, and complete performance reviews.

**What problems is Engagedly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In the past we had issues tracking goals or simply staying on top of goals. Engagedly lets us easily track and manage our company and personal goals giving us a set place to go along with reminders to check in/Update our progress along the way.

**What do you like best about Engagedly?**

Although we are still in the early adoption phase of the goals, I think the goals feature is the best built out feature. I really enjoy creating lessons as well - it allows me to create repeat content (like Harassment training) that will not waste tons of time for those that have already engaged in training! I love that we can create custom badges for the gamification and our employees really love complimenting one another and giving feedback to one another through the platform (more than I thought they would!) I also like that you can turn off the dashboard items so that it becomes less burdensome visually to employees and managers.

**What do you dislike about Engagedly?**

The ways in which you can execute a performance review are limited. This is very much geared toward a 360 review model, which is fantastic, but I would love to have a more open-ended review process that does not require a scale.I think that more customization would be optimal, but I am not exactly sure what this would look like. Also, it's a very complicated and heavy program - once you are in it and get training it makes sense, but it can be very intimidating when you look at the dashboard the first time.

This is an amazing source especially for a small to mid-sized company with creative people.

**What do you like best about Engagedly?**

My entire experience with Engagedly has been perfect. We were looking for a solution that was flexible, able to be customized and, most importantly, easy for our employees to use. We found that all with Engagedly. It was one of the few software solutions that allowed for easy solicitation of external feedback, as well as internal feedback. In a client facing organization such as ours, collecting feedback from our partners needs to be an easy process for not only us, but them. 

Working with the Engagedly staff has been a treat - quick to respond and to consider solutions outside of the box are two of the most important qualities they offer. 

**What do you dislike about Engagedly?**

While we have the opportunity for many custom builds, sometimes our ideas are outside of the original vision of the platform. I would welcome the opportunity to help provide additional feedback on potential opportunities for the software. 

**Recommendations to others considering Engagedly:**

Talk to Aaron on their sales team to determine how Engagedly can help you achieve your goals. It will be totally worth it.

We needed a solution that would dramatically reduce the amount of processing time for collecting and distributing feedback. The process used to take 4 weeks of my time, I was able to complete within one week.

First and foremost the level of service!  Extremely fast responses to product questions and troubleshooting.  The user interface is very intuitive, and has been extremely easy for our employees to learn.  In addition to the ease of use building and launching performance reviews, the system has dramatically increased employee engagement outside of the yearly performance cycle.  The social feed has been a big reason for this increase! 

**What do you dislike about Engagedly?**

In the 'Manage Features' setup, I would like to be able to have more detail on each feature.  For example, the Intranet has some great features, but I do not want all of the features turned on, only a few.

I love that Engagedly triggers all email communications to employees and managers, and helps my employees stay on op of their goals. Its also very user friendly, so its easy to explain the step needed in order to complete a task.

**What do you dislike about Engagedly?**

I wish there was a more formal 30-60-90 day review process. We have build out our own process around this, but Im sure Engagedly could do this better than we have, making it less manual and administratively time consuming.

There is a clear line of sight to each employees goal - employees have either completed their goals, or missed them, and Engagedly make that easy to see on demand.

The platform covers multiple needs from an employee engagement and HR perspective. It's nearly a one-stop shop to cover the essential needs and some additional benefits.

**What do you dislike about Engagedly?**

The customization is slightly limited. When the executives have a particular concept in mind, we may or may not have the capability to achieve it. The customer support team is great at providing alternative solutions, and will do what hey can to make it work.

**Recommendations to others considering Engagedly:**

Great tool if you have the flexibility to utilize the tool as designed. Our struggle is the particular wants/needs of our executive team which make the customization more tricky. The tool itself is great, though! I can see how this would serve as a great place to house facilitation of many items simultaneously.

360 Performance Evaluation is much more streamlined. Saving time, money, and collecting data effectively.

I like the aesthetics of the site and that it is intuitive and easy for all employees to use.  We particularly like the Praise Wall feature and the Feedback feature for tracking progress leading up to performance reviews. 

**What do you dislike about Engagedly?**

Lack of communication as new fields/features roll out.  For instance, I see new fields on User profiles for HR Manager, Secondary Manager, etc, but they all seem to interrupt the access of other managers on the profile.

**What problems is Engagedly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Performance reviews and professional development. We have been able to formalize our review schedule and enjoy the easy "Org Dashboard" to track the overall progress of reviews.

**What do you like best about Engagedly?**

The software is very user friendly and has a strong look-and-feel. My favorite feature is the Feedback tool - this is well designed and allows a great amount of flexibility for the user when giving or receiving feedback. I also appreciate the different dashboards across the site, which allow for quick and easy checking of progress on different aspects of the system. The customer support is extremely responsive and helpful, as well. They respond to my (many) questions in less than 24 hours every time.

**What do you dislike about Engagedly?**

I don't feel the reporting aspects of the system are strong yet. As an administrator, I have a difficult time pulling analytics besides the dashboard information, and sometimes the dashboard information is confusing/inaccurate. I have had some issues with course completions in the learning tab, and that has given me inaccurate statistics for our compliance requirements. I also wish I were able to pull more useful data about our learning course enrollments. For example, when someone registers for a course date, they are still marked as "Yet to start," but they are at least a step ahead of those who did not register for a date. I cannot easily notify those who have not yet registered for a course date without cross-checking the lists (because I do not want to notify those who already registered for a date). There are some other aspects of the learning tab that don't meet our needs. I would love to have the option to review/approve/deny requests for courses, and it would also be great to have pre-requisite functionality in the system that requires users to complete some learning before engaging in other learning.

**Recommendations to others considering Engagedly:**

Easy-to-use, and engages our employees. A lot of the features work wonderfully and accomplish what we hoped for. Some features still need development - if reporting is really important to your organization, this may not be the tool for you yet. 

**What problems is Engagedly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Engagedly allows us to streamline and align organizational goals with those of individual employees. The goal tracking is especially useful. We are also using this tool to support our performance management goals (building a culture of ongoing feedback and accountability). We will be utilizing the feedback feature and rewards section for this. The social feed and praise section allows our employees to publicly acknowledge and appreciate one another, which boosts morale. Finally, we use the learning tab to streamline our learning needs and manage our compliance training.

At this point there isn't anything that comes to mind. We have had the program for about a year so maybe something I dislike will come up after using it for a bit longer.

If you need to use it for something specific just ask, the support team is great and helping and making engagedly work as needed for your team.
