Normally with software like this, it just takes some getting used to. However I have used Engagedly for a number of years now, and I still strongly dislike the way it has been set up. My colleagues also find it fiddly. I think there are better options out there. **What problems is Engagedly solving and how is that benefiting you?** It allows me to make notes on employees and track their progress using goals/appraisals ### 2. This not only provides a clear roadmap but also allows for tracking the progress made. Such an overview of ongoing activities within the company offers valuable insights. **What do you dislike about Engagedly?** My manager and I are facing challenges when navigating through the app, which can be frustrating. Furthermore, it is disheartening to realize that achieving exceptional results does not directly translate into receiving a high score at the end of the year. **What problems is Engagedly solving and how is that benefiting you?** Having a better understanding of what are the goals of the company I work for. ### 3. Finding anything within Engagedly is a heavy cognitive load since it is so user un-friendly. I am using it for a year and every time I open it I have to search for stuff that I need because the UX is so **What problems is Engagedly solving and how is that benefiting you?** None. The platform doesn't really solve any problems for us. ### 4. Lots of back and forth with requests going unanswered unless you reach out every day to check on progress. There is a lot of manual work that was not shared with us prior to selecting a performance management system. Felt like a bait and switch. **What problems is Engagedly solving and how is that benefiting you?** Engagedly has honestly been a hurdle to our performance management process instead of a holistic solution we were hoping for. **Official Response from Srikant Chellappa:** > Sorry to hear about your experience. The product must be built from the ground up by you, it's really difficult to use when you don't really get training and when you ask for something and it's not done right the first time it can become a nightmare. Here I am a year later and feel like I have failed. They also updated the program to make it less user friendly too (meaning adding unnecessary additional steps to complete what was once a simple click). **Recommendations to others considering Engagedly:** LEARN BEFORE IMPLEMENTATION!!! A lot of start ups demand immediate solutions. Fight back with your executive teams if you are not confident in the product and process you are about to push. **What problems is Engagedly solving and how is that benefiting you?** I think Engagedly is a young company that needs work in executing for a company. If they can have a dedicated person walk through the program with the right client(s) from the get-co it might resolve potential future issues. I realized that the product is not that bad, but once you have encountered problems, it is difficult to convince a company otherwise that issues can be resolved. No offense but overall I am not a fan. ### 6. A lot of times you try to do what the customer wants with out going into detail about what the platform is capable of. It's capable of a lot but we only see about 15%. **Recommendations to others considering Engagedly:** Either have a clear vision of what you are looking for or be open to ideas and suggestions to create an amazing platform for your company. **What problems is Engagedly solving and how is that benefiting you?** One issue is the log in issue. It would make sense that you have a registration process where people can use a username to log in vs. an email. Not everyone in a company with 1000+ Employees follows simple directions or have this kind of information.
