I like the HR platform with all the different options and the reports and AI features. They make reporting on large team sizes extremely efficient and quick, and I can also look back on things easily. I believe the template section could be improved. The ability for team members to write things, not just sign, would be beneficial. Also, the pay details and profile of the owners of the platform should be made completely invisible to the rest of the team. Certain types of leave only show a running total since the start of employment, rather than keeping track per year. For example, I get 4 hours of study leave to use each year, but I have to do the math to work out how much I have available, as this isn’t broken down for me. That’s quite annoying. Also, for some onboarding things that are optional, I can’t tick them as not applicable and they keep sending me alerts to show they are outstanding. The link between payroll and HR for holidays seems unnecessary, and continues to be very frustrating as it causes delays in processing payroll. We would prefer holidays to sit within the HR platform only.

We’re not even using half of the features because the setup of new features is complicated and unless you have a degree in computer programming it is very difficult to follow set up processes. That said, once everything is set up properly, the system is good and straightforward to use.

Customer support and account management could still be better, but they are improving all the time. It’s much easier to speak to a person than it used to be. When issues come up, they resolve problems quickly, and communication is good throughout the process.

Employment Hero has helped us to move and maintain all our processes to a paperless module and we seamlessly are able to do everything online. It has helped us digitalize everything and the onboarding and offboarding are straightforward processes now. It is a breeze in term of compliance management.
