I won't say it's a dislike, but more of a challenge to prepare for. When it comes time to review the Pulse survey results, it's hard for a lot of managers to not feel defensive. We even had a few who thought they might be in trouble, even though we've never done anything like that. But I think the results of Emplify are so specific, and often personal, that managers can feel attacked.
As with anything, Emplify has been a learning curve and part of that has been learning how to present the results. We've made adjustments every quarter. I also think with time, managers see that they aren't in trouble and start to trust the process more. We are seeing results in the actual groups that we are working with.
