The processes are simple and easy to follow, which makes day-to-day work efficient and straightforward. I also appreciate the tools that are provided—they are practical, useful, and help me work effectively. Overall, Emerald creates a supportive environment that makes collaboration easy and enjoyable. One area that could be improved is the timing of bonus and commission payments, as they are currently paid one month later than expected. A more timely payment process would be greatly appreciated. I also think the expense policy could be simplified to make the reimbursement process more straightforward. Finally, I believe the timesheet process could be modernized. Having to complete an Excel spreadsheet to track worked days feels outdated, and a web-based timesheet tool would make the process more efficient and user-friendly. Emerald Technology enables me to work for a U.S.-based software vendor while benefiting from a French employment contract. This provides the best of both worlds: the opportunity to work in an international environment with a global company, while enjoying the security, compliance, and benefits of local employment. They operate very fast. Communications are straightforward and same-day reply is a standard. During our onboarding process, we experienced several challenges, including delays in health insurance enrollment that affected the team, issues with the delivery and logistics of equipment and hardware, and payroll and withholding discrepancies affecting some colleagues, among other situations encountered throughout this initial stage. Everyone was so friendly and easy to talk to. Whenever I needed anything it was easy to contact them (other than the time zone difference) and they were always happy to help me with my problem. The onboarding proccess took a little longer than expected and it was very confusing however the team at Emerald Technology helped me through every step of the way. About 6 months into using the system my phone stopped receiving text messages for my code which was an inconvenience however the team got the code swtiched to my email.
