I like how they have updated the main page to make it even more simple to navigate. The site continues to get expense refunds back quickly. They also made customer service easier to contact and they have continued to help me. I was recently locked out of my account and they got back to me almost instantly and fixed the problem. Also, there have been a few times the website has crashed while I am in the middle of implementing a reimbursement, and my progress was not recovered an dI had to start again. I like how Emburse Expense Enterprise keeps a nice record of everything related to my expenses. It's super easy to use, especially with so many easy categories to allocate expenses to. For transportation, there's flight, ground transportation, mileage, etc., and if I use Uber or Lyft, the receipt automatically uploads to my Emburse account. Plus, I can easily take a picture of receipts with the app on my phone and upload them. I've had a couple of instances where I can't find the receipt to allocate to my expense. For example, I upload the receipt and I incorrectly selected a different receipt, but when I go back to find the correct one, I can't find it. A lot of transactions aren't synced properly and will show up late and then warn you that you're submitting an expense past due. A recurring challenge is that employees sometimes submit expense reports without properly scanning or attaching supporting receipts, making them difficult to review. The most helpful aspect of Emburse Expense has to be the easy-to-use categorization features, that enable you to easily identify areas of expenses incurred, document them quickly, and see your overall expense report immediately, as you build it. The UI is extremely easy to use and intuitive, even for first time users, and the time it takes to document a full expense report is definitely reduced from previous expense reporting tools that we've had. Although handled on an organization-by-organization basis, the categorization options can often seem to roll over each other and without clear examples or documented rules for each category, selecting the right one can cause a negative experience. Previous expense tracking tools we used acted more like spreadsheets and outlined, line by line, whatever you entered. They offered selections for things like expense categories, dates, etc. but they did not contain the easy-to-use UI of Emburse Expense, and they also did not offer the incredibly easy-to-upload receipt tracking feature. Prior to Emburse Expense (formerly Chrome River) our T&E process was very manual - Emburse brought our T&E process into the 21st century, allowing the process to become highly automated, thereby reducing pain points and making it easy to use. Customer Support has been great - they have been attentive to any issues we've encountered, and our initial implementation process was thorough and relatively painless.
