Embedded Chat is a group chat widget that adds a real-time community chat room to any website with a single script tag, or a one-click install on Shopify. It is built for creators, online communities, live streamers and online stores that want visitors to talk to each other and to the site owner, not just fill in a contact form. Visitors get emoji reactions, threaded replies, @mentions with an unread badge, image uploads, inline polls, GIFs and slash commands, while admins pin announcements, edit or delete messages and reply from the admin panel on phone or desktop. Rooms can show a "LIVE NOW" banner for a YouTube, Twitch or Kick stream, and admins can replay and search past chat. Moderation tools include slow mode, members-only rooms, a banned-words list and scoped sub-admins, and the Pro plan adds AI moderation that automatically redacts toxic messages. Pro also adds an AI assistant bot with a configurable persona, JWT authentication with your own login, and HMAC-signed webhooks for Slack, Zapier or a CRM. Other features include themes and custom CSS, custom emotes, an automatic welcome message, email activity digests, analytics and viewer tips through Stripe Connect. Setup guides cover WordPress, Wix, Squarespace and Shopify. Pricing starts with a free 15-day trial with no credit card, then Basic at $9/month, Pro at $29/month and Enterprise at $99/month, with unlimited messages on every plan.
