I was able to set up our companies interactive display for a trade show very easily and only needed to ask a question from the developers once. It’s also quite powerful and I was able to achieve everything I wanted to do with it quite quickly and only scratched the surface of what’s it’s capable in terms of scripting and real time integrations. Being able to combine both stills and video within our interactive display was very useful. **What do you dislike about embed signage?** Being cloud based only, it was a hinderance that we couldn’t edit it onsite due to lack of internet connectivity. Once the finished project is downloaded to a device, it can not longer be changed. You need to edit the original online and re-downloading it. We needed signage software that was affordable, easy to use, MAC OS compatible, and customize the signage so it did not look generic. We wanted to be able to have the school Logo, school statement, weather, and spot for announcements. Embedded came the closest to meeting all our wishes. There are many training videos that answer most if not all questions I had in the beginning. **What do you dislike about embed signage?** I wish the was an EASY slideshow option for photos. We display A LOT of photos and wish there was a simpler way to add and remove photos. **Recommendations to others considering embed signage:** So many signage companies are designed for very large businesses or organizations that have many displays. It means that we can easily change what to show our students and even people walking outside on the street. It's also great that everything can be automated with on and off timers and I can publish it and not have to worry about whether the screens are on or off at certain times. **What do you dislike about embed signage?** It's very slow when using the editor. Loading times are incredibly slow. Not just while editing but also for loading media on screens. The caps for file size and resolution seem really low, and I don't know why it takes so long for media to load to the screens. The interface of the editor online is also a bit quirky at times, with things not offering a great user experience. Things like not having a 'fit' option for zoom or making the steps more gradual, not being able to unlock global zones for a specific page, limited design style customization, multiple clicks just to get to changing something like text. The media menu being a whole different menu so you can easily make quick changes to media while editing a layout is annoying too. Adding on the slow page loading times makes it even more frustrating. Adding some good mobile functionality would be great. The sizings and options and position of things when using a browser on mobile is tough to use. A lot of the time I want to be standing in front of the screen to see the changes I make and make sure things are adequately implemented, so being able to use it well on a phone would be helpful. **Recommendations to others considering embed signage:** Fantastic tool but it is slow and a bit clunky to use. As tried the app, we noticed how easy and self-explanatory the admin's backend was, and while every section had a dedicated tutorial video, we really did not need to use those to get the system up and running. They support a wide variety of devices including Android and iOS based mobile devices, which made it easy for us to implement on our smart TV devices. **What do you dislike about embed signage?** I love the layouts section, but it lacks some image editing and color correcting features, I normally edit my photos on Canva then just upload them to the system, would prefer to do it all in one place. **Recommendations to others considering embed signage:** If you are looking to implement a digital signage platform in your company or on your campus, I highly recommend trying embed signage, the system is easy to use and you will be up and running in no time. **What problems is embed signage solving and how is that benefiting you?** We were covering a huge campus with more than 12 buildings, embed signage helped us implement our digital screens around campus with ease and show all announcements and news in a timely manner. ### 27.
