EmbayLMS is a bilingual learning management system for organizations that run regulated and compliance training in Canada. It is built by Embay Consulting Inc., a Canadian consultancy, for mid-market teams whose training has to stand up to an audit, especially in Quebec and in regulated industries. English and Canadian French are built in parallel: courses, notifications, certificates and support. Core learning records and the user directory stay at rest in Canada on AWS ca-central-1 (Montreal). Billing is per active user rather than per seat. An active user is someone who signs in at least once during your billing period. People you have provisioned but who never sign in are not billed, and neither are deactivated accounts. Content standards: SCORM 1.2 and SCORM 2004 on an engine built in house, cmi5 with a built-in Learning Record Store, AICC (HACP) import, and LTI 1.3 so EmbayLMS can be launched from Canvas, Moodle or Blackboard. Training and assessment: self, administrative, bulk and group enrollment; learning paths with prerequisites; recurring assignments for periodic training; quizzes and exams with question banks, passing scores and retakes; live sessions with attendance; certificates with expiry dates and recertification. Security and administration: single sign-on with SAML and OIDC, multi-factor authentication, built-in and custom roles, white-label branding with your own domain, a REST API with webhooks, and append-only audit logs. Reporting: completion and overdue dashboards, exports by course, learner or date range, and a report builder with scheduled reports. Imports keep original completion dates, so moving from another LMS does not reset your training history. Selling courses: a public storefront with course pricing, coupons and a cart, with payment through Stripe to your own account. Plans: a free plan, Starter and Growth billed per active user in Canadian dollars, and Enterprise on request. Prices exclude taxes.
