What do you like best about SAP Emarsys?

The Smart Insights feature allows us to apply advanced segmenting within our campaigns, ensuring we only display the most relevant content by any marketing channel. There's a lot of different features that are available within the one platform that allows us to create that omnichannel experience. The team is super helpful and provides an array of insights when working on various projects, whether it's loyalty, automation, or general campaigns.

What do you dislike about SAP Emarsys?

Although the platform is tailored to your business, some features that Emarsys has could really be an out-of-the-box feature rather than a custom solution. It makes it difficult to get certain features up and running on the fly.

With so many features available to use, it may be overwhelming to begin with, but it's important to have a roadmap and utilise all of the handy features available.

Our email marketing strategy is enhanced with a range of other touchpoints. Emarsys allows us to streamline the customer experience post and even pre-purchase to ensure visitors do not see irrelevant content.

"The Most Comprehensive Marketing Platform We've Used"

What do you like best about SAP Emarsys?

The training Emarsys offer for onboarding to the platform, support articles, and account managers are second-to-none. There is a wealth of knowledge available to help stakeholders of all levels from management to execution-orientated staff.

The level of detail and comprehensive automations that can be created help us on top of our competitors.

What do you dislike about SAP Emarsys?

UI and navigation within Emarsys takes a few sessions to learn for new users as everything is orientated around icons to visually communicate modules instead of text - meaning a hover is often required to reveal what the section is.

Recommendations to others considering SAP Emarsys:

I would recommend Emarsys to medium to large enterprises that need an email marketing platform that does it all. It is a very comprehensive tool.

What problems is SAP Emarsys solving and how is that benefiting you?

Emarsys allows us to create an omnichannel marketing strategy that is personalised to our customers. Our analytics, automation and transactional emails all being housed in one platform allow for us to align across sales channels.

"Emarsys is such a robust marketing tool + top notch support!"

What do you like best about SAP Emarsys?

Emarsys support is top-notch; I can always count on them when I get stuck in the process somewhere. Emarsys's features are robust and usually make it reasonably easy to accomplish whatever goal we are working toward. I especially enjoy the web channel and predict features, although both could use a few tweaks to make them 100%.

What do you dislike about SAP Emarsys?

The UI can be a little clunky sometimes, and I wish the segment builder were better, but they are continuously working to improve it.

Emarsys is an omnichannel solution for us; we use it for email, web, and CRM.

The forms - they are not mobile responsive, look & feel very old, and are not accessible

We are winning back disengaged customers who are about to turn defecting/inactive. Emarsys can track where each customer is at along the customer journey and serve relevant content at the right time.

What do you like best about SAP Emarsys?

I like how easy it is to use once you do the trainings, it is intuitive and very powerful. I really like the way you can design mails, bumpers, etc.

What do you dislike about SAP Emarsys?

I don't have anything to say about this at the moment.

"Finally! A true Omni Channel Customer Engagement Platform"

What do you like best about SAP Emarsys?

There are many areas I appreciate:

- The implementation manager did such a great job helping us with all the nitty-gritty of the implementation.

- The Customer Success Manager is always here to help escalate any issues you may have and always take on product feedback.

- It's great to have all your product, customers, web engagement, and sales data all in one place and being able to send marketing communication on the different channels SMS, emails, Paid Ads, Web Channel.

- I love the customer support team. They are prompt and very helpful, and it does make a big difference to me to implement and QA campaigns faster. I used to work with many other big ERPs, and Emarsys support is number #1 by far.

What do you dislike about SAP Emarsys?

Not much that I dislike! And there is a lot of development going into the platform, which means the product is getting better every release which happens regularly. It's built for marketers allowing you to implement campaigns and report fast. You may have IT team not completely happy with how flexible and open the back end raw data is, but it's a slight downside that is not outweighing the benefits.
