Self-hosted email solutions may not be widely recognized, and accessibility for the average user has historically been limited.

In my case, I have extensive experience with various platforms in this domain. While the industry's leading names offer commendable features, they often fall short when it comes to a user-friendly interface or unnecessary bloat that hinders the core functionality. And, many of these solutions lack trigger-based automations for effective segmentation and response.

I stumbled upon a solution quite unexpectedly during a recent search for something unrelated. I took a chance and bought it, and successfully configured an Ubuntu VPN along with the backend and frontend software, all within an hour. The interface is clean and well laid out. The backend and front end just make sense.

What truly sets this apart is the inclusion of an MTA (Mail Transfer Agent), which allows you to become your own sender. This eliminates the need to rely on third-party SMTP services like Amazon SES or Mailgun for sending emails. While this aspect does involve some technical complexity beyond my current expertise, I was able to put the pieces together by reading the docs they provided. A few emails that were very quickly answered also helped a huge amount.

This is what I also want to highlight is the support is the best I have received, I mean I get responses quickly, even on the weekend (does your team ever sleep or take a day off :) ) Since I purchased the documentation has grown and gotten more detailed so that most all issues you may face are handled.

I have been waiting for a self-hosted ESP solution for years that I can rely on and now here it is!

I needed a solution for both my company's digital marketing needs and the needs of my clients. We decided to take the leap and integrate it into our systems. We are so glad we did. Emaildelivery.com ESP software is robust, feature-rich and easy to set up and manage.

The documentation and explainer videos made it a cakewalk to install the software. The docs even provided a step-by-step approach to installing and setting up on a Digital Ocean droplet. The installation and setup scripts make it easy to set up an ESP on a server by abstracting away technicalities.

There was an instance where we needed some support due to our particular setup. Their support was quick to respond and skilful in fault-finding the issue. Once we provided the access needed, they were quick to fix the problem. I feel they went above and beyond in their skilful support approach. This gives me great confidence in both the future of this software and the support they provide when needed.

After the installation, the process to get started was made easy by watching the explainer videos they provide. We quickly started using the system and found it easy to navigate both the admin and front end.

Setting up transactional emails was simple and only required reading some documentation.

Setting up and sending a new campaign was also easy and intuitive. With prior experience using Mailchimp and other ESP platforms, it is a simple process. Recipient list management is also easy to work with.

It's rare these days to find a product vendor that has real pride in what they do. Ian and EmailDelivery show in their product the craftsmanship and pride in their work.

Most business software today is minimally viable with rare exceptions, and this is one of those exceptions.

I own and operate an Email Marketing service and I recently acquired Email Delivery to add to my offerings I have been absolutely stunned by the thought and work that went into this amazing software.

I hate to say I would highly recommend it because I already have too much competition, but reluctantly I have to say if you are an agency and would like to provide an awesome email marketing platform to your clients you won't find anything better out there at any price.

The platform is minimalist. No clutter and everything makes sense and is logically arranged. It's very intuitive and if you run into issues the support is stellar. They provide a level of service you usually would have to pay a premium for. They are always updating it fixing bugs and adding features almost constantly. The main issue so far is the product is very technical. If you don't have a highly technical background or have a tech available to help you who does, then you'll be lost getting it set up and operating.

What do I like best? For me it is the fact that it is a self hosted platform.

But the AMAZING support I have received is a very close 2nd.

This platform is VERY powerful and at first glance was very intimidating for me. (I'm NOT a techie) The idea of installing this platform on a VPS via a SSH portal connection, well that seemed beyond my ability.

Lets just put it this way... I had to google "what is a VPS" to start with and then I had to figure out how to open a command prompt on my computer so that will tell you where I started from.

But once I bought it and logged into emaildelivery.com and watched the install video, I felt like I could at least try.

My first try to install FAILED! So I contacted support and got an immediate response. The response was very "polite" and easy to understand. You see the error was completely my fault because I did not follow the directions accurately.

It turns out that you have to know how to spell "install" correctly. You see when I ran the install command I had a typo, I spelled it "intall" so it didn't work. Support was very polite about pointing out my "typo"

Once I corrected the "typo" the entire install went perfectly and I was able to get it installed and login to my new ESP!

All I can say is that as long as you can follow the directions (which are very easy to understand) you should have no problem getting this installed.

As for features the main features that I like are that the system allows you to "auto-tag" your subscribers based on their actions. The ability to "auto-enroll" a subscriber to a funnel (ie: autoresponder sequence) based on if they opened a particular email or clicked a specific link is huge for me.

Also the ability to segment a list and send broadcasts to VERY specific contacts that have been tagged based on their VERY specific actions is amazing.

You can really drill down into your data and send exactly the right message to exactly the right contact on complete auto-pilot.

This software and the support that comes with it is AMAZING and very easy to understand.

This would be a steal at 10 times the price.

If you do email marketing on any level. This is a absolute no-brainer buy at the current price.

And if you have plans to offer it as a SAAS (like I now do) it is the obvious choice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As a "User" of the platform for my own email marketing their is nothing I dislike about the EmailDelivery.com platform.

If I were to be using it as a SAAS platform for my customers, I would like to see more options to set "permissions" for the "users" Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

You can get and email campain going in minutes. Lots of "advanced" features that let you tweak delivery with a finecomb. Creating a template from existing or scratch is nice and easy. Tested the templates on outlook (app), outlook.com, gmail, aquamail (Android) and IOS mail and they look perfect!

But the most important thing for me is the AMAZINGINGLY FAST and EFFECTIVE support. Unlike others, they "walk the talk"! Hands on to help you fix the problem even if you created it yourself.

Regarding the install, I am not an expert but managed to get it up and running on my VPS in a matter of minutes. It is well documented and if you stick by it, you're up and running in no time. Also integrating the MTa on a different VPS was quite easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Emaildelivery is extremely powerful software. Truly an incredible value in my opinion. I'm using it for multiple production workflows and it's been flawless.

Everything you need to run your transactional and marketing emails is here. You even get your own SMTP relay. And all on your own servers.

Emaildelivery.com is a feature packed software for email marketers. As an email marketer and agency owner for more than 10 years, this by far is the easiest and most user friendly ESP that I've used. The software is well thought and seems to be built by a team who really does understand email marketing from the execution and administration side. Features that are "a must" are already baked in.

Implemention was very easy. They have a single line of script that installs everything for you. Documentation also is top notch, even with their API. You have all the information start out and if ever you got stuck, see my notes about support below.

Support is also solid and support is top notch. The support team is very responsive. They are also knowledgeable and don't really mind getting their hands dirty and do the job for me. Talk about white glove service!

Oh, I forgot to mention I also spoke to a real human, who listens to suggestions and thoughts that can improve the product, and THEY ACTUALLY IMPLEMENT IT! Me and other users had a few suggestions which made sense to them on an email marketing perspective and they rolled it out on the next update. Updates are also frequent, specially with integrations. The out of the box integrations are already enough for us to run the software but they still entertain our requests since it'll be beneficial for specific use cases.

Kudos to Ian and the rest of the team. We're happy customers and emaildelivery.com became part of our daily routine. We use emaildelivery.com frequently now and this has replaced a lot of software that we had for email marketing. This is the first time in a while that I've encountered such terrific experience and hope this helps out other future customers of emaildelivery.com when making their purchase. Least helpful was they came very late, but I didn't mind. I would have this software even 5 or 10 years ago if they launched.

Also this is not for the faint of heart. Even though they have a single script for installation, if you are not familiar with linux server administration and a few technical configuration, then it'll be a bigger learning curve.
