Best Email Security Platform by Symantec **Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in E-Learning | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** August 13, 2023 **What do you like best about Email Threat Detection and Response?** Symantec Email TDR is helping us in protecting from advanced email attacks in real time, it is helping us in detecting and prevent spam and malicious file attachment which comes over the email and which lead to data theft. **What do you dislike about Email Threat Detection and Response?** Sometimes it by-pass some spoofing email which act like an genuine email headers, Implementation is little complex job and required good training skills to manage the Symantec TDR. **What problems is Email Threat Detection and Response solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is helping our organization to get protected from on-going spam bulk spams and phishing emails which attackers send to steal intellectual information of the users, It is benefiting our organization in protecting confidential data of our customers. ### 2. Quality Product **Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Arika C. | Administrative Assistant, Hospital & Health Care, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** September 26, 2018 **What do you like best about Email Threat Detection and Response?** It kept most spam out of my main box without me ever even seeing it, which I appreciate. **What do you dislike about Email Threat Detection and Response?** Symantec runs scans starting at a certain time each day which is great, however, every time a new scan begins the computer minimizes whatever windows are open and interrupts whatever work you are doing at that moment. This can happen 10-15 times a day and while I am sure there is a way to stop the interruptions, it was not available to me as a user, only to the admin who was non responsive. **What problems is Email Threat Detection and Response solving and how is that benefiting you?** I was receiving a high volume of spam messages with links and attachments and Symantec basically eliminated that problem. We have since removed the protection since we switched email systems and the old email is completely full of junk.
