What do you like best about Create?

I love how the page layouts mimic website layouts, and that these are responsive without me having to do too much editing for different screen sizes.

The re-release feature is also very handy. It lets you re-release your content after making corrections, without the need to re-upload any SCORM packages into your LMS.

Elucidat is set up to send xAPI statements, and also has an online release method, so you technically don't need an LMS to release your content. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Create?

Some content types are missing. For example:

- no software simulation recordings (very necessary for my software eLearnings)

- no ability to create your own variables to track different numbers in the background (like Storyline / Adobe Captivate)

- no ability to set objects to have different states that update depending on variables

- no ability to add custom JavaScript to any of the buttons, pages, or clickable elements (this could be useful for gamification points, etc. as well as sending custom xAPI statements based on learner behaviour) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

In regards to the content types that you have listed, these are very useful points for feedback which are appreciated as areas to improve the elearning platform. What do you like best about Create?

We looked into several e-learning authoring systems before unanimously agreeing that Elucidat was the best choice, and we've been so pleased with our decision. The system itself is user friendly, offers a number of easy to use templates, and there are many options to engage learners with the course content. We had two main goals when investing in Elucidat: 1) Elevate our learning experiences to match the aesthetic of our brand and 2) Create e-learnings at scale, and Elucidat has helped us accomplish both those goals within our first year. I would also be remiss if I didn't acknowledge the support we receive from our Customer account manager as well as their Customer Service team. The white-glove service they've provided, starting even before we signed our contract, has been nothing less than exceptional. We signed on for the product, but we will stay for the service. What do you dislike about Create?

We use Workday for our LMS, and the integration between the two is a bit lacking, specifically when it comes to Data Analytics (without investing in Elucidat Analytics which does fills the void). I'm also looking forward to seeing more of a seamless experience between Elucidat Author and Elucidat Create; currently, we're unable to use our brand theme and previously built Author projects in Create, which creates more manual work in the latter system. I do believe they're working on bringing these two products closer together, so I look forward to seeing that update. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Create?

They are a really great team to work with. Like how can make variations, language differences and reviews. Also, great that it is all cloud based and we can have multiple people work on and collaborate on projects. The different permission settings available to set for people is really useful. What do you dislike about Create?

It isn't very user friendly and intuitive to author. It is a bit fidly to try and make it look how you want it too. Especially as more advanced designers. Not having good undo capability to try things and then just go back a few steps. Frustrating to have to switch between author and layout mode to just figure out a layout. Can get time consuming to not be able to style a section/interaction then copy and paste that onto different pages (or save in a bank of styled widgets) to have consistency throughout a course or between courses. Have you seen the latest releases we’ve just introduced? We just ran a launch event to showcase the new, more intuitive interface; where there’s undo and redo capabilities, no switching between modes to change the layout, and you can copy and paste interactions between pages and courses.
