What I like best about ELMO software is its configurability and user-friendliness. I can tailor the system to fit Lipman's unique needs, which has been a game-changer for us. The software centralises employee information securely, automates administrative processes, and provides a modern, efficient onboarding experience. ELMO's Learning Management System offers easy access to online learning, and its self-serve functionality allows employees to update their details. However, after some consideration, I think it would be beneficial to have "drag and drop" style functionality and more features in the employee profile. Once you understand the fundamental architecture of the system it is very user friendly and intuitive. At present the system architecture is based around the user and not roles which e.g., can become cumbersome using the organisation chart feature because when a user departs the system doesn't automatically default to direct reports then reporting to 2 up managers. Elmo is very user friendly and does all of the things that we were looking for in an HRIS/Payroll system. All of our staff have been able to use it without too much training. It was fairly easy to implement and has integreated well with Xero which is our accounting system. It has replaced all of our paperbased time sheets, leave request and outlook leave calendar, so it is used everyday by the majority of our staff. The customer support has been pretty good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about ELMO Software? Some of the reports in the payroll side are quite limited and it would be better if we could customise them. To be fair to Elmo though the payroll product is one that they have a licence for it is not their own product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What problems is ELMO Software solving and how is that benefiting you? Lots of paper based forms have now been replaced. The HRIS is integrated into the Payroll System which means that there is accuracy in the data. Staff can update some of thier own record. Our old payroll system was client based, not cloud based whihc meant that during events like COVID we needed to be onsite to process the payroll, now we can be anywhere. There are lsome great tools for safety teams. We use the learning modules for compliance training and for recording completion of external mandatory training for staff. We have also set up inductions in the learning. We have used the online forms for our Work from home safety checklist, and survey tools for reviewing the effectiveness of some safety PPE.
