I like using Banner Finance to know how much money we have in our budget for purchasing items within our budget. It is very easy to navigate and toggle through the application. Banner 9 Finance screens are easier to view and navigate. The help screens allow you to do more than in Banner 8. However, it takes longer to complete simple tasks because the shortcuts available in Banner and did not carry over to Banner 9. Although, I do enjoy using the MyBanner feature and navigating in different screens and coming back to the same screen without loosing or having to save information. I truly miss the shortcuts from Banner 8, which did not carry over to Banner 9; therefore, it takes longer to complete simple tasks. Once you hit enter to save the information the program redirects you to the beginning page and you have to enter into the previous screen; therefore, tasks take longer to complete. I like how well the program is organized and split in sections for different departments, some work with students other work with budget and finance like me.
