Allowed us to embed a custom scheduler into our web site to kick off the process of scheduling customers for webinars. **What do you dislike about Elfsight?** They seem to have hit some large scale technical issues which have completely broken the service for us. They acknowledge the problem, but it's been down for days. We initially got a response and engagement from their support, but now we are not able to raise any help when following up. In fact, it looks like our original request for help was deleted. We are unable to raise help via phone. And when trying to post to their community forum, we are met with the similar "broken page" that we are getting from their core service. Very disappointed. **What problems is Elfsight solving and how is that benefiting you?** We had been using elfsight to provide the front-end for a scheduling service for our customer training organization. **Official Response from Max Elfsight:** > Dear Brian, We are terribly sorry for all the inconvenience caused by this situation! We've actually encountered a significant challenge that took us a long time to resolve. Certain elements were beyond our direct control because the issue occurred on our partner's side. It was the first time our service experienced such a severe impact, providing us with valuable insights, and we've already taken steps to prevent such incidents in the future. We are happy to inform you that the issue is resolved now and everything, including the widgets and our Community Forum, is working properly. In the meantime, we've checked our user base and found that our support agent Apollonia has contacted you, but it seems you could have missed her message. We've also tried to connect with you via another support ticket (425142), but haven't heard back. If any issues still persist on your side, please get back to us by responding to ticket 425142. We'll be more than happy to help and resolve any remaining concerns! Once again, we'd like to bring our deepest apologies for all the frustration this might have caused you. Absolutely useless "Viber Chat" App!!! **Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Georgi P. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** November 16, 2021 **What do you like best about Elfsight?** This is NOT a chat! This simply a link that opens Viber! **What do you dislike about Elfsight?** I ordered and paid for 12 months for the "Viber Live Chat" App. At the end, the installed app is not a "Chat" it is actually a link that opens Viber on the customer's Desktop or mobile phone. So first of all, it is not a "Viber Live Chat". What if the customer does not have Viber installed on his computer? Second, when you subscribe for the cheapest monthly plan, that is supposed to work for 5000 loads, they disable it in the middle of the month so that you can pay more. I have between 40 and 50 visitors a day to my web site, but yet in the middle of the month they disable the app and ask me to upgrade my subscription plan! How do I make those 5000 loads with my 40 visitors a day??? You have no proof that you have "exhausted" those 5000 loads, you just have to trust them. I strongly believe that they do it on purpose to force you to upgrade your subscription plan and pay them more money!!! **What problems is Elfsight solving and how is that benefiting you?** No problems have been solved! **Official Response from Max Elfsight:** > Dear George, We cannot express how sorry and upset we are to know about your experience with our Viber Chat! What we'd love to explain is that this app does require a Viber dev app to be installed in order to communicate. We're truly sorry that it was not obvious, thus misleading! With regard to the views limit, we do provide different views limits for each plan so that you choose the most suitable one for your use case. Views do not equal visitor numbers and represent the number of times a page with the widget was loaded. As far as we can see, you display the widget on every page on your website, which could significantly increase the number of loadings. But if the views limit appears to be insufficient, we send several email notifications so that the widget deactivation doesn't come as a surprise. We're terribly sorry if you didn't receive them and we'll be happy to look into this issue and find out what went wrong. Again, we're beyond sorry about such a disappointing experience you have had! We'll do the best we can to investigate all the issues you had to face and find the best solution for you. We have contacted you in your support ticket and looking forward to your response there. Easy To Install, Hidden Issues, Unethical Company and Poor Support **Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Airlines/Aviation | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** June 09, 2020 **What do you like best about Elfsight?** Easy set-up, works fine to start until you forget about it... **What do you dislike about Elfsight?** There are a number of hidden issues with Elfinsight which you might not notice! If you run out of monthly page views which you pay for (or on free), rather than the app just disappear, they advertise their own company within the app and tell the world you have run out of credits, making your company seem less trustworthy and professional. This even happens on the paid plan. Even though our plan had 100,000 views, this happened after just 80,000 views. Also, you pay up front. They then change the plans to add more views later on so you always end up on a worse legacy plan. They do not offer any resolution, admit they have made mistakes or offer a refund. Whilst this software should work fine, the underhand tactics of Elfinsight backed up by lack of caring and terrible ethics means I took down there app less that a quarter of the way through my payment with no offer of refund - the offer, sign up for another 12 months and we will give you a few dollars off...
