Recommendations to others considering Elastic Stack:
I am using logstash from the last 4 years and it's very easy to use as compared to other migration application tools. I will recommend using at least one time to see the power of logstash. It's free and open-source under the license of Apache 2.0. Logstash best use in the market to data processing and data migration, so a lot of features are there. So you can start using this according to your requirements and explore its step by step. As this is also a part of the ELK stack, so there also support available on the Elasticsearch sites. We are using logstash for a lot of different purposes. And the best things about the logstash is that it is easy to write a script. And it's work best for both small datasets along with big data. What problems is Elastic Stack solving and how is that benefiting you?
I migrate data from different input source files like storage, XML data, Kafka, Spark, etc. to other sources like Kafka, Elasticsearch, Spark, Hadoop, etc. We also used logstash to read weblogs and visualize that logs into the web through Kibana. We also used logstash to modify the data in between streaming before reached to the destination. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
