Best thing about Kibana is the ease of conversion of visualization and dashboard into reports as we need reports to send to business daily for log and alerts.
Also, automatic alert generation is an outstanding feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Installation of external plugins require lot of effort and very difficult to install on the first go.
If a dataset is too large, there are better options, or you can use Mongodb etc.
UI can be further improved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Interactive charts,Build in aggregators, mapping support, and its easily accessible dashboard makes kibana very useful and easy to manage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I do not dislike anything, But it will be helpful if graphs are 3D instead of 2D Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The ability to collect data from various sources and the ability to process it on the go is the best feature of logstash. We mainly use it for collecting and processing data to send it to our data base. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is most compatible with elastic search but for other it's need lot of improvement. So, documents to integrate it with other databases and tools should be provided. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Elasticsearch is a larger version of Logstash that brings together a smaller amount of data/logs. Elasticsearch creates an index for the data gathered, and one can use that index to fetch the data on Kibana or any other visualization tools to create reports. Elasticsearch is only valid if we are dealing with more significant amounts of data or for companies willing to create reports for archived data of the previous 5 or 10 years. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Kibana is an excellent tool to analyze log data and monitor or track logs for various applications.
It is extremely user friendly
Writing queries is also not rocket science and can be learned within a few minutes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Installation is not very simplistic.
The URLs are incredibly long; although there is an option of a short URL, it can timeout quickly. You then have to write the entire query again. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Kibana is a great data visualization tool with an excellent user interface, providing different visualizations such as pie charts, histograms, etc.
We have been using Kibana extensively to monitor the RPA bot automation and prepare various charts based on the same from the logs generated by the RPA bot.It seems really easy for non-technical people also to understand the visualizations generated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is nothing much to dislike about the tool as it does an excellent job of what it is supposed to do. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Kibana is the tool for all the professional logger management for any service and product based companies. It really gives the specifics of all the requests and responses from the backend side and helps to troubleshoot better and better for sequencing of the transactions. documentation has to be placed has walk through document while we are using the tool which will help to quickly find the required configurations/jqls. This is missing in the tool Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is very easy to manage, look logs into and you can sort and segregate logs based on time, log groups and millions of custom filters. It makes logging and debugging easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It can be a little complex at time to view logs, but over all it is great. The one thing I find annoying is you need to learn a whole new language in order to advance query the logs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Kibana elastic search offers a powerful and flexible dashboard to monitor the incoming and outgoing api. We love the KQL language that enables us to find the logs that we want quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While the KQL query is fantastic, we would appreciate more user-friendly filter features, such as the ability to filter by "contain". Not everyone knows how to write KQL, and we have some not too technical business folks who regularly use the dashboard. It would be great if elastic search could add a few features to help them.
