I had ALL opt ins and yet my first few campaigns got bounced like crazy. I couldn't even email my own email address,. which is an AOL mail address which usually lets spam through as most people know. All my mail to AOL, hotmail and other places got bounced , or 550'ed until I was able to get help from the support team. The settings requiring the user to make sure that SPF , DMARC and all the rest was tough for someone like me that had no idea what any of that was. I learned a great deal, adding to my DNS things , but wish I hadn't had to go through all that to get my delivery up to par.
