Tesseract is an AI agent you talk to in plain words. You describe what you want in a sentence (or say it); it shows a plan, uses the tools it needs on your own computer, and hands back real files: PowerPoint and PDF decks, documents, websites ready to publish, images, logos, fonts and video. Everything it makes opens in an editor, so you can change it yourself. It runs 14 agent frameworks in one window, including Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, Gemini CLI, Antigravity CLI, OpenCode and Cursor, and you can pick a different one per conversation; for developers it is also an agentic IDE with a code editor, terminal, live preview and a plan before it acts. Tesseract is free: it runs on the Claude or ChatGPT subscription you already have (or a Gemini API key), or on a free allowance, and pay-as-you-go top-ups unlock the most capable models. Desktop apps for Mac, Windows and Linux, a web version, a command-line agent and a browser extension, plus free apps of its own: Remote Desktop, Mesh (a private network for your computers) and Atrium (team chat). Made by Eightcell Labs, Inc. Not related to Tesseract OCR, the open-source text-recognition engine.
