"Transforms Safety Management with Visual Insights"
4.5/5
What do you like best about EHS Insight?

I like that EHS Insight serves as our central system for anything safety-related, making it easy to log incidents, run inspections, track corrective actions, and manage training records. I appreciate the dashboard because it changes the conversation by visually laying out leading indicators and incident trends in a way that non-safety executives can understand in about thirty seconds. The integration with our HR system is great as it keeps training records and employee data current, eliminating the constant errors from maintaining a parallel list. The onboarding team understood safety programs beyond just their product, helping to set us on the right path and transform safety management from a manual to a digital format, which now drives decisions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about EHS Insight?

The AI and intelligence side of EHS Insight is essentially absent. I was hoping that the software would automatically notice recurring hazard types at one site and flag them, but pattern spotting is entirely manual for now. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Revamped Our Incident Investigation Process"
4.5/5
What do you like best about EHS Insight?

I like that the investigation workflow in EHS Insight really changed how we work. It walks us through questions in a logical order, instead of letting us jump straight to a solution. Being able to attach photos and documents to an incident is great because it keeps everything together, rather than scattered across emails. Also, seeing similar incidents across time helps us figure out if we're solving the real problem or just handling symptoms, and tying corrective actions ensures we can check whether a fix actually prevented a recurrence. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about EHS Insight?

The investigation templates are fairly rigid, and our operation involves different types of incidents that don't all fit neatly into the standard format. So, we've had to work around that. Following up with corrective action actually requires someone to manually check since there's no automatic way to validate if that fix helps. Also, the interface for the investigation doesn't quite match how our team naturally thinks about root causes, creating some friction in the process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Enhances Safety Management But Needs Better Data Distinction"
4.5/5
What do you like best about EHS Insight?

I really like the automated compliance reminder with EHS Insight, as it means my team and I don't have to manually check everyone's compliance status. The training expiration reminders surface what needs attention, which is super helpful. The dashboard showing safety metrics in real-time is great for spotting trends without waiting for month-end reports. I enjoy that supervisors can log observations and near misses directly, which means we get more data and are no longer a bottleneck. The ability to quickly pull analytics is a huge plus for presenting safety performance to leadership from one source rather than piecing it together from multiple places. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about EHS Insight?

What we dislike is that my team still needs to review what's logged to catch inconsistencies or errors, so it didn't completely eliminate the review work, just reduced it. The system does not distinguish between something that needs immediate action and something that is good for quarterly review. So we still have to make those calls ourselves. I would also like it to surface what actually drives our safety performance improvement rather than just showing the numbers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlines Safety Compliance but Needs Better Integration"
4.5/5
What do you like best about EHS Insight?

I love the certification checking across contractors, which is an obvious win because we can see at a glance who's current and their training as well as who's about to lapse, without manually cross-checking spreadsheets. The incident history tied to each contractor lets us spot patterns, like if someone had multiple minor incidents on similar tasks, allowing us to address issues before something serious happens. Being able to restrict certain contractors from certain types of work based on their history feels like basic due diligence. The mobile apps for capturing site incidents mean safety incidents get lodged on the spot rather than written down on a clipboard and transcribed later. The initial setup was straightforward, and the support was responsive when I had questions about starting contractor certification. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about EHS Insight?

Getting contractors to actually report incidents is still a challenge. They worry it will affect their ability to get work, so we are probably still underreporting on their side. The system does not automate anything about contractor onboarding, and we are still doing the verification work manually, just with a better place to store the results. I would like to get better integration with our project management system so contracts automatically get assigned based on their clearance capability without someone manually checking both systems. "Essential for Safety and Compliance Management"
4.5/5
What do you like best about EHS Insight?

I like that EHS Insight serves as our central source of truth for logging incidents, tracking corrective actions, managing the compliance calendar, and reporting on safety performance. The analytics across all three facilities really help us see things that would have stayed hidden in separate spreadsheets. This visibility allows us to genuinely understand which locations are safer and which are just underreporting. I also appreciate the ability to check specific types of incidents or areas, as it helps us address root causes rather than just treating symptoms. The corrective action tracking is crucial in preventing things from slipping through, especially since some issues had been left unresolved for years. The software holds up well when pulling multiple years of history, and the support team is helpful when I have questions about configuration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about EHS Insight?

The visibility was a double-edged sword because uncovering that one facility had been hiding problems meant I had to have difficult conversations with the management team. It does not distinguish between near misses that matter and those that don't, so we get volume without intelligence about which issues need attention first. I would also like better help spotting which corrective actions are actually working versus just getting checked off as complete without real change. The learning curve for supervisors was steeper than I would have liked when they realized their location numbers were visible to everyone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Safety Reports, Needs Better Automation"
4.5/5
What do you like best about EHS Insight?

The action tracking has really won me over. I love that I can look at my own list and see exactly what's outstanding on my shift without having to ask anyone. Doing inspections on a tablet as I walk the floor is so much better than carrying a clipboard and typing it in later, which is time I never had anyway. Being able to attach a photo means I don't have to describe a problem in Word to someone who wasn't there, which makes handovers cleaner. The next supervisor can actually see what I'm talking about. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about EHS Insight?

Things that annoy me are the forms that I have to fill out which I don't need for my line, and I can't hide them. So I'm tabbing past irrelevant stuff every time. Nobody trained me properly at rollout, I just got a login and had to figure it out myself, which took longer than it should have. Also, the system doesn't learn or recognize patterns. I log the same recurring issue on the same machine month after month, and it never addresses the pattern, which even I can see. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Offline Capabilities and Certification Tracking Are Key Strengths"
4.5/5
What do you like best about EHS Insight?

I like EHS Insight's offline capability. This feature saved the rollout on our sites with poor connectivity, where people often gave up when things wouldn't submit. The attachment on inspection is also valuable because a picture of a hazard is worth more than a description in a box. Certification tracking has genuinely prevented us from putting someone on-site with a lapsed certificate, avoiding liability issues. The system holds up well during our busiest mornings when every site is submitting at once. Additionally, I appreciate the responsive and knowledgeable support when I raise issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about EHS Insight?

Where I would push for improvement is with the mobile experience which, while functional, still has more of a user burden than it should. And simplifying the flow for someone in gloves on a windy site would go a long way. Onboarding was where I felt let down. The platform site setup was well supported, but nobody prepared me for how much effort the adoption would require. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Chris Collier of EHS Insight

Really appreciate this review. Offline capability is one of those features that doesn't sound exciting until you're on a site with no signal and inspections still need to get done, so glad to hear it saved the rollout. And certification tracking preventing someone from going on-site with a lapsed cert is exactly the kind of outcome that makes the platform worth it.

Mobile UX feedback is noted. Making things easier for someone in gloves on a windy site is a real-world usability bar we take seriously, and it's the kind of specific feedback that helps us prioritize improvements.

On the onboarding side, that's fair. Platform setup is only half the battle, and we know adoption takes its own effort. Appreciate you calling that out so we can keep improving how we set teams up for that part of the process.

Thanks for the honest feedback and glad the support team has been responsive when you need them.

"EHS Insight: Essential for Safety and Compliance Management"
4.5/5
What do you like best about EHS Insight?

I would point out the mobile app as a standout feature because it allows our staff to log incidents with a few taps and photos right from the field. This ease of use has been crucial for adoption. The corrective action tracking is another big plus since every finding gets an owner and a due date, ensuring accountability. The dashboard has been genuinely useful for identifying recurring problems, and it seamlessly connects with our HR system, so our records stay current without having to maintain a separate list. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about EHS Insight?

What I would improve is with the reporting side. It's powerful but building a custom report takes more fiddling than it should, and I have spent longer than I would like getting something to look the way management wants it. Pricing is fair for what it does, but it's a real budget item, and I had to make a case with actual injury numbers rather than assuming our leadership would see the value. There is also very little intelligence built in on the platform; nothing that can spot a pattern across incidents and flag it. So noticing trends still depends on me reviewing the data myself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Chris Collier of EHS Insight

Really appreciate the detailed review. Great to hear the mobile app is driving adoption with your field teams and that corrective action tracking is keeping things accountable. That reactive-to-proactive shift is exactly what we build for.

Custom reporting feedback is heard loud and clear. We know it should be easier to get reports looking the way leadership wants without the extra fiddling.

On the intelligence side, you should check out the AI capabilities we've added to the platform. EHS Insight can now surface patterns across your incident data and flag trends automatically, which sounds like it would save you a lot of the manual review time you're describing. Happy to have our team walk you through it.

Thanks again for the honest feedback.

"EHSI is a great tool, still need spanish SDS capability."
4/5
What do you like best about EHS Insight?

I like EHS Insight because it keeps all of my Safety Management tasks in one place, making them easy to access across multiple devices no matter where I am. I especially like the Dashboard, which lets me track all my KPIs and adjust or manipulate the data as needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about EHS Insight?

Training Management could be improved by adding a way to exempt specific individuals from training when selecting a business hierarchy. Also, the initial setup was a pain, with weekly meetings where we kept trying to explain how we needed it configured. It would have been much more beneficial to sit down with someone for a week and knock it all out at once, instead of stretching it out over multiple meetings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Chris Collier of EHS Insight

Thank you so much for the thoughtful review and for sharing what's working alongside where we have room to grow. It's great to hear the centralized dashboard and cross-device access are making your day-to-day easier — that's exactly what we build for.

Your feedback on Training Management is really valuable. The ability to exempt individuals when assigning by business hierarchy is a gap we've heard before, and I want to make sure your specific use case gets in front of our product team. On the implementation side, I completely understand — a concentrated, sit-down-and-build-it-together approach versus drawn-out weekly sessions is a fair critique, and one we're actively working to improve for new customers.

I'd love to ask directly: what would it take to earn a four-star (or higher) rating from you going forward? Whether it's a specific product enhancement, a change in how we support you, or something we haven't thought of — I want to hear it. We take reviews like yours seriously as a roadmap for getting better.

"Highly Customizable and Effective for Incident Management"
4.5/5
What do you like best about EHS Insight?

I like the customizations available in EHS Insight, which allow me to adjust the software to my company's needs. I can add backing lists, edit and create fields for all forms, and create roles to limit access. It was easy to set up EHS Insight if you didn't want to edit and customize forms, and there were a lot of initial options. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about EHS Insight?

There are not all connected but I wish that you could link forms between modules. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Chris Collier of EHS Insight

Thank you, Amanda—we truly appreciate your feedback.
