It allows us to communicate easily with a section of the Amish community that will use fax but not email. We do not get very many faxes from these advertisers, but we get a fair amount of total revenue. We can send them a pdf of their ad without them needing to have an email account or computer access. Efax has always been so reliable and easy to use, with follow up emails that are sent to you. The website is easy to use and eFax online makes my job a whole lot easier. You just make an account and a fax number number is assigned to you. The interface is user-friendly and everything is laid out for you. You upload the documents you want to send, fill in information about your recipient and voila, your fax is sent. If you are faxing large documents, you will be charged an additional amount that isn't disclosed on the subscription pages, but somewhere in the terms and conditions. This can make faxing with eFax more expensive than other services. Additionally, there is no feature to show you that a fax is pending, only a temporary pop-up that tells you it was sent. This can be a nuisance if you're sending multiple faxes or those with large documents and want an email confirmation or somewhere on the homepage showing you the status of your faxes.
