I also like its autocomplete and error detection tools in the code. Its interface is also very attractive, which has extensions and first-hand tools to facilitate coding. **What do you dislike about EditPad Lite?** A negative aspect of the application is that some plugins do not work when compiling. It has a conversion function for UNIX and Macintosh. In addition, this software has automatic saving and syntax highlighting. You can also tab and format programming languages to code easier. **What do you dislike about EditPad Lite?** I would like to adapt a dark layout to the user interface, to improve the visibility of the code, however, the software does not allow modification. I also believe that the application should receive updates more often. **Recommendations to others considering EditPad Lite:** I like the shape of this software to highlight the code. It facilitates the editing of HTML with predictions of words, making the software all the work practically. It also has support for multiple languages. I recommend it. **What problems is EditPad Lite solving and how is that benefiting you?** EditPad is an easy way to format programming languages to easily code. In addition, it is a good option to better organize the code before sending the reviewers. I also use it to edit certain MySQL database parameters. ### 4. Good, it's perfect for quick and simple text settings **Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Aníbal M. | Programador sénior - Lider de proyectos, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** December 04, 2018 **What do you like best about EditPad Lite?** What I like most about EditPad Lite is that it is free, I do not have to worry about licensing costs when installing, it has everything you could want from a simple text editing software, searches, text replacement, create documents new, plus others that are also useful, I love that it is very light I am a web developer and sometimes I have many applications that consume many resources of my computer and it is necessary to make a quick code adjustment in some application at those moments EditPad comes as a ring to the finger, I just have to open the file modify and send all this without having to close the any application to free resources. Finally I feel that it is so complete that Notepad comes installed by default in my operating system. I also use the portable version when I'm not on my computer, I always carry it on a pendrive and it has saved my life on many occasions for important adjustments **What do you dislike about EditPad Lite?** The advanced search functions are paid and somewhat expensive in my opinion I would like to be able to search with regular expressions at a lower cost within the program. Another thing that is missing in EditPad Lite is the highlighting of syntax, I use it basically with HTML and PHP applications so I could use great colors to help in quick edits.
