It has more options than Notepad and we can open multiple tabs at the same time. It's a must-have tool if work on day-to-day documentation. **What do you dislike about EditPad Lite?** There is nothing much to dislike the tool but some other edit tools have way too many options which can be added in Editpad to ease the document modifications. **What problems is EditPad Lite solving and how is that benefiting you?** It improves the ease in analyzing and modifying the text documents. ### 2. It also has a lot of styling features which allows us to organize the text better. **What do you dislike about EditPad Lite?** I do not like the UI of the editor that much, It looks like a classic editor with very few modern-looking features. I would have preferred an editor with more modern look and feel as well as features for dark mode as well. **What problems is EditPad Lite solving and how is that benefiting you?** It helps me to open many files at the same time and it has replaced notepad from my daily routine. It allows me to edit files in a light weight editor with good features. ### 3. It can be used in conjunction with RegexBuddy and RegexMagic, which are also used to use regular expressions. EditPad Lite also includes the ability to perform constant backup and save the undo and redo for all open files. **What do you dislike about EditPad Lite?** EditPad Lite lacks options. It could include the possibility of adding plugins that include more features to the program. EditPad is not intended for programming as it hardly includes support for HTML. The design is also a bit outdated and needs to be improved. **Recommendations to others considering EditPad Lite:** It is a program that I would recommend for those interested mainly in performing advanced searches through regular expressions. Very useful in environments where programming predominates. **What problems is EditPad Lite solving and how is that benefiting you?** EditPad Lite has allowed me to make changes to complex texts through its search and replace function. It has been quite useful and practical to gather all the text files in a single program through tabs. ### 4. It allows me to catch mistakes I might not catch in Word. I had it for about a year and started using about six months ago. I have used it for two projects. **What do you dislike about EditPad Lite?** I don't like that it doesn't have Word wrap. Sometimes it won't recognize the program and will open gibberish or say failed. I have a hard time in using some of the features, but still learning. The manuscripts it didn't recognize I put in Word. I have to use Edit Pad Pro 7 then transfer to Edit Pad Lite **Recommendations to others considering EditPad Lite:** Look for your use of program. Make sure it fits your use. **What problems is EditPad Lite solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use it for editing. It is my first editing software. I mostly use Word.
