We recently changed payroll systems and were impressed with what we were shown. Transitioning to this system was sooo easy! It is very user friendly. **What do you dislike about Eddy?** The only downside to Eddy we have come across is that Eddy does not have the ability to direct deposit into an IRA account. Other than that, which was not a huge deal, we love Eddy! **What problems is Eddy solving and how is that benefiting you?** We were having a little trouble with time tracking before Eddy. Eddy currently does not have the function to have editable documents. Helps me account for my days off. **What do you dislike about Eddy?** The system requires a high access to the network such that if the network is weak you are not able to access the system as fast as you want it also you are not able to navigate properly if the network is weak while you are able to operate on sites like gmail when the network is a bit weak. **What problems is Eddy solving and how is that benefiting you?** Systematically calculating the payroll, Helping in monitoring attendance and the time one is in and out of the working place. Eddy has all the tools from time tracking, time off, and more reports than you could ever need. The team at Eddy makes running payroll a breeze. **What do you dislike about Eddy?** One of the downsides is not being able to make your policies super specific but you can get around it with a little work each time a benefit is earned. The amount of exposure your job listings get is above and beyond what any single platform can offer and at a fraction of the price. The actual software is extremely user friendly and gives you simple tools to stay organized throughout the demanding hiring process. **What do you dislike about Eddy?** Not enough applicants for one of my listings, but plenty for the other. Probably more so due to the job market in the industry at this time, more so than anything that Eddy is doing. **What problems is Eddy solving and how is that benefiting you?** I don't have time to sift thru applicants and keep track of which ones to move forward with and which ones to turn down and actually reach out to those people appropriately and in a timely manner. I used to not have time to get back to people that we were not moving forward with to give them the courtesy rejection and now with Eddy, I just drag and drop them into the rejected column and Eddy sends the perfect email to them and takes hours off my plate. I couldn't be happier with this feature. The Chat portion gives a me a quick place to communicate with applicants all in one place. It's easy to keep track of who needs what and what I need to do next. ### 14. The vacation policies and the time-off calendar were our main attraction but the fact that you can keep a history of pay increases and separate Admin notes make it super attractive. Another plus is the Docu Sign for all required HR documents and the training reminders (great for driver licenses! No more expired drivers). Onboarding is awesome since applicants can apply straight from the Eddy link (it also links up to some of the bigger platforms like Linkdin). A big bonus is they have features on the road map to be implemented - they are always trying to make it better and they have asked for my feedback personally. Love it! **What do you dislike about Eddy?** Their time tracking doesn't currently integrate with the Lathem Timeclock we currently use. They have Geo Tracking for clock-ins but who wants to review that for 20+ employees? Their reports aren't the best. Not too many complaints cause it works for what we need, but they definitely have a lot of room to grow to be the best of the best HR platform. **What problems is Eddy solving and how is that benefiting you?** Eddy has helped us keep the employee files up-to-date at a low cost. The electronic docs make it easier to keep up with and a lot less filing and paperwork on the admin side. ### 40. Everyone is so kind and understanding as we were learning to use the program and very willing to adapt to our personal needs and develop features in the system to help us be more efficient in managing our HR. **What do you dislike about Eddy?** I wish there was one search tab for all employees current and terminated rather than having to click terminated or active. I **What problems is Eddy solving and how is that benefiting you?** We really like having the ability to track hours worked, see who is clocked in, track vacation time/sick days earned and or used as well as the employees being able to see the time they have available. I can look on my home page and see who is off that day on vacation or sick. I love having the ability to send a form or new policy to our Employees requiring a signature and retaining it in their personal file for reference. As we were transitioning the development team made training videos available to share with our employees which was very helpful. ### 41. Eddy provides a help center to help with any tasks you may need help with. **What do you dislike about Eddy?** One of the functions we really wanted to take advantage of was the ATS. However, it was not beneficial. It seems a couple of the posting boards may have changed their policy. We are staffing company and it was difficult to receive results. **What problems is Eddy solving and how is that benefiting you?** Eddy has provided a centralized area for the main tasks of HR. My employees never have problems with it, making it excellent for them. For me, everything is very simple to understand and easy to use, from payroll to managing time off. I also appreciate the HR Support Center ad-on that you can purchase with your Eddy subscription. It gives you access to HR training and educational content, as well as real HR professionals to help answer your questions. **What do you dislike about Eddy?** Because EddyHR is a newer service, there are sometimes features that might not exist yet, if you compare Eddy to other related service. I would say that they make up for these limits through their customer service, and as they grow, they continually add new features. **Recommendations to others considering Eddy:** Go for it. It's a great company and product and they are getting even better every day. They are always implementing new features and improving their product. I recommend this especially for smaller business HR. They also have support in the U.S. and you have a dedicated customer success manager to assist you along the way. **What problems is Eddy solving and how is that benefiting you?** Eddy has solved a few problems for us: it's helped us streamline payroll a lot more so that I don't have to spend too much time on it and it's provided me with a place to easily store employee personnel documents. ### 43. In a world of software automation and impersonal business relations, the team Travis has built is very much customer service-centric and have never been shy to pick up the phone to walk us through a process or explain how to maximize the efficiency of the platform.
