What do you like best about EDB Postgres Advanced Server?

The fact that you get a clear migration path away from proprietary databases is itself the biggest relief. Also to add enterprise grade toolkit to help with anything postgreSQL. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about EDB Postgres Advanced Server?

It is currently limited to Oracle compatibility, though the options to migration from other databases do exist, Oracle compatibility is the only comprehensive availability. Would like to see usecases for Mssql etc.. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I used Enterprise DB when I worked for Pitney Bowes. It was a great and versatile database because I depended on Postgis, the spatial part of Enterprise DB. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Pure anecdotal but from what I’ve heard, it’s difficult if you really want to replace your oracle database you can do that. How ever Oracle is so tightly integrated you end up having two systems anyway.
