**What do you like best about EDB for PostgreSQL?**

I use EDB as a container deployment and it provides a highly available and scalable solution which meets the database requiements for my application. Running EDB in a Container helps to leverage the capabilities of Kubernetes to manage capacity, failover and maintenance.

Donot have any specific dislikes for EDB.

EDB is the primary database for our Application deployed on Cloud.

PostgreSQL is one of the fastest growing database platforms in our organization.  We use EDB to provide support for our Community Postgres, and they are doing an excellent job.  They are responsive to our needs and help us with resolving issues quickly and efficiently.

**What do you dislike about EDB for PostgreSQL?**

No particular issues from my standpoint,

EDB is providing software support as well Postgres management tools which help us manage and operate our extensive Postgres platform

Each component has multiple solutions which is difficult to test and choose one. Instaed one robust solution for each feature and enhancements on the same would be helpful

We are impressed with the produc'ts features, straightforward implimentation, and exceptional support team.

**What do you dislike about EDB for PostgreSQL?**

A potential area for improvement is the development of a more advanced GUI for rolling upgrades/patches.

**What problems is EDB for PostgreSQL solving and how is that benefiting you?**

EDB helped us deploy mixed workload both relational and JSON data within the same database. This has been a great success for us.

Sometimes the recommendation from edb is not problem solving.

We have been working with EDB in supporting our Postgres databases for over a year as I am writting this review.  Their engineers have shown excellent technical capabilities. Their Tech Support portal and process design is mature and well thought.

**What do you dislike about EDB for PostgreSQL?**

We have not encountered any issues working with EDB so far.   Only thing I noticed is that EDB's Professional Services offering is a bit complicated.

architecture design.   technical support in operation that give us a peace of mind.

EDB has deep experience in working with and maintaining PostgreSQL.   It has been a pleasure working with their account representatives and support team.

**What do you dislike about EDB for PostgreSQL?**

There is no real downside other than EDB would prefer the use of their maintenance software packages, other than 3 party vendors.  That is to be expected.

**What problems is EDB for PostgreSQL solving and how is that benefiting you?**

EDB provides operational support for our postgreSQL infrastructure which helps us solve production issues in a timely fashion.

It not a dislike but a concern that EDB not diverge from community Postgres.

Supported Postgres.  Vector support for AI context.  Database on containers.

the interface is not friendly and i often have collisions in the connection ports

Postgresql is the best and it has left nothing to say anything about its dislikes.
