As a balloon company, I can put options like colors, length, embedded pictures, and so many more with text fields, radio buttons, etc. Plus, I can assign cost values for each option so a client can know that adding foil balloons to their selected garland will cost an additional $5 per foot and it recalculates the total cost instantly as they select options. **What do you dislike about Ecwid?** As great as the product options are, Ecwid is clearly designed for mailing out products. As a service-based company, we're constantly having to reinvent the wheel to get options at checkout. Delivery windows are rigid. Adding a button to say "We want teardown for $75" at checkout would cost us hundreds of dollars of programming, so we develop workarounds. When you try to add mileage costs based on zip code, it takes more workarounds, and if you want to add a percentage of cost as a rush order fee or something similar, it just doesn't have the versatility. We still appreciate and endorse the product, but it's best for mailing out t-shirts, not running a service business. **What problems is Ecwid solving and how is that benefiting you?** We needed a platform that could give us tons of options for our myriad offerings, customized pricing options for each item and ability to handle payment and checkout. The customer support team has always been quick to answer our questions or resolve any issues. One of the main things that make Ecwid stand out over other e-commerce platforms is its ability to conform to the customization we need for our business, it's also a great deal! **What do you dislike about Ecwid?** Some things may need to be implemented, like adding bulk pricing upload options to the CSV import method. Another option I'd like to see is a design tool feature. But these are highly complex integrations, and Ecwid is still an excellent deal for what is available. **What problems is Ecwid solving and how is that benefiting you?** The main issue Ecwid has solved recently is uploading pricing variations. I used a developer to help set the site up, but he didn't understand my business and made many mistakes that I had to address to ensure my business ran smoothly. **What do you dislike about Ecwid?** While I understand businesses have issues from time to time, I rely on email notifications and over the years, Ecwid's transaction notifications were not going out through email which caused delays in order processing. There are very few ambiguities and you need to contact Customer Service to get assistance. I am not an incredible specialist in technology and wished the assistance was clear. We only have a few items, so there was no need to prepare anything. It seemed to me that we could develop, that I could develop to the extent that I used e-commerce as a consumer. **What do you dislike about Ecwid?** I would like to be able to incorporate my account into the piracy distribution system. I would like to be able to link my professional Venmo account to a payment option. This may be due to my personal lack of knowledge, however I still need to learn how to deal with managing inventory levels of a unique list of products that have multiple variants. **What problems is Ecwid solving and how is that benefiting you?** I think Ecwid is optimal for companies that find themselves in less common internet commerce situations and require a comprehensive service that can serve a variety of purposes. They repeatedly serve as my letterhead for incorporating new ways to market products into our marketing plan. USing Ecwid has ensured that we pop up in most google searches that relate to our products, and it helps that Ecwid can be installed on multiple sites - which we did! **What do you dislike about Ecwid?** I know it's in development, but because we have items with variants, it would be nice to automate updating stock levels via Zapier. I have an experience with Shopify, and even though it has more bells and whistles I prefer Ecwuid. **What do you dislike about Ecwid?** What I dislike the most is their Lightspeed Payment, I signed up with them and all my problems started right away, they requested to remove a diet supplement product from my site, I did what they requested and after that they never responded to me I sent them 6 emails asking why they do they hold my funds and why Lightspeed Payment is disabled but nobody cared to respond to me, this is unacce[ptable, there are much better payment processors out there. The other major downside for me is the lack of profit analysis and sales statistics, there is no option to enter the cost of goods and calculate net profit,. **What problems is Ecwid solving and how is that benefiting you?** Easy to use and excellent customer support. ### 32.
