It is the best open-source community tool to build an IoT project, this also provides the services and framework to build IoT projects. you will find ample of plugins to make your life easy.

**What do you dislike about Eclipse IoT?**

Comparable to other IDEs, it is somewhere slow when there is a heavy script in the backend it is slow in processing.

**What problems is Eclipse IoT solving and how is that benefiting you?**

While starting in the learning of Iot it helped me with to have a basic understanding about how IoT works.

Eclipse IoT is solving a lot of real-time problems to build smart homes, restaurants and workplaces

The user interface is absolutely mind-blowing, however it definitely can use some room for improvement. Nevertheless, all others are really good to use features.

**What do you like best about Eclipse IoT?**

Eclipse IoT tool the best so far for developing IoT Projects and I personally like it. I have also recommended my students to have a use on this toolstack for learning and development purpose.

**What do you dislike about Eclipse IoT?**

I dont see much issue from stack-side, but I do feel a website lag and sometimes it fails to load the EclipseIot website. Hope you could resolve this website load balancing which could also help you to gain more users.

**What problems is Eclipse IoT solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Yes, it benifited in terms of scale and ease to use. Peer connectivity is quick and powerful here. I developed many project, like angle detection for a valve in which Eclipse IoT helped me.

Eclipse is easy to use supports Kura, Eclipse SCADA, Eclipse smart home, Ponte and many more open-source framework and protocols

UI can be improved. Sometimes it gets very slow performance can be improved

Eclipse IoT is open source we can make changes in source code. I am using it for my home automation project

It being open source and can work on multiple projects smoothly

Few things can be a bit difficult to grasp initially but pretty smooth over time

I have used in the past for few IOT projects based on Raspberry pi and it helped in completing the project nicely. It did make things quite productive.

Love the Eclipse Smart Home having Java and OSGi services to integrate home automation. This project provides a uniform access point for many home automation devices and protocols.

**What do you dislike about Eclipse IoT?**

Limited support for 5G network slicing capabilities and protocols for developing 5G solutions.
Missing support for OSMC, raspberry pi project.

**What problems is Eclipse IoT solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am trying to build the Home Media Automation and 5G solutions using Eclipse IoT.
The extensive support of protocols like Mosquitto and Paho is very beneficial.

sometime the setup shows irritating error messages, and we nowhere to get the solution

Debugging was easier in eclipse IOT than some of the other alternatives. The Eclipse platform is very familiar and is stable, and I could use my favorite extensions.

**What do you dislike about Eclipse IoT?**

You could avoid unexpected crashes, especially while debugging, which is sometimes a very irritating issue.

I used to work on a landslide detection project and a network packet monitoring device.

The deluging in eclipses is really easy and i would always recommend to use it for working on multiple projects using java or web development in general

I think I don’t like the screen placements sometimes but in general i like to use eclipse over others

**What do you like best about Eclipse IoT?**

The depth of knowledge on the website is great. The Videos are spot on (ones I have watched) and help stay in front of the increasing IoT market. 

**What do you dislike about Eclipse IoT?**

As a non engineer some of the language is a bit hard to grasp initially. The more immersed you are though even from a marketing perspective the open source knowledge was okay to read. That really isnt eclipse though as much as overall technology realm geared for tech people more than non tech even if they are business users.

**What problems is Eclipse IoT solving and how is that benefiting you?**

End to End Solutions. Tutorials and Sandboxes were great tool
