Upon initial use of eClinical Works, I was a bit overwhelmed. I thought it was so much to learn and almost thought it was no way I'd get the hang of it. But that changed with less time than I expected. I love that everything is in one place, such as billing, coding, labs, x-rays, doctor and nurses' notes, patient medications, the capability to schedule appointments, and so much more. I also find it very easy to interact with staff when needed. The reports feature is heaven sent. I moved up to billing and coding and thought I'd have to utilize another system. Luckily, I was able to do that with eClinical Works, and I loved that I didn't have to learn another system.
Moreover, when labs are done, we are able to seamlessly connect with LabCorp, so we don't have to worry about inputting a lot of manual information. Since COVID, TeleHealth has become very popular. eClinical Works allows the providers to utilize this feature to interact with patients. Patients love that they don't have to travel and can be seen from the comfort of their homes.
eClinical Works has been a game changer when it comes to patients. We can pull charts faster and it omits the use of paper and pens. Aside from the speed, I just love the overall efficiency of eClinical Works.
Lastly, when we have questions, support is amazing! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The downsides of eClinical works are occasional lag when they're multiple users logged in, reporting can be tedious and complex if not properly trained, and slow customer support.
I've experience slow performance when I've pulled report and when during training with multiple users.
When I first started using the reporting feature, it was kind of complicated to learn and customize.
Even though customer support is good, it can be slow with long wait times. I had an issue that required more than once escalation which caused me to turn to another program. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
