  ### 1. Transition from Macola to Acumatica

**What do you like best about Macola?**

All modules are similar, so easy to learn.  Reports are sufficient.

**What do you dislike about Macola?**

Ad hoc reports are through Chrystal, which is not user friendly with Excel.  I suggest going straight from Excel to the database itself.  Payroll module is not up to date.  Had to outsource.  Third party customer support is hard to find.

**What problems is Macola solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bill of Material, A/P, A/R, Invoicing.  For a small manufacturing business Macola satisfied most of our needs.  Upgrades are absolutely necessary.

Seeing what was available from stock to use

**What do you dislike about Macola?**

Awkward clunky software for a simple problem, made a mountain from a mole hill

**Recommendations to others considering Macola:**

Would not consider as the user interface is too complicated to use on top of usual task during daily work. It should be easy and quick to complete and as it stands it takes too long to complete any shop order

**What problems is Macola solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solves issues of running out of stock before a process starts, can see what is available before conducting processes

**What do you like best about Macola?**

I appreciated the bank reconciliation process including the reporting.  I liked that you can work on several months at a time unlike Quickbooks.

**What do you dislike about Macola?**

The program is not intuitive to those accustomed to a windows based program or online platforms.  It's not easy to figure out how to locate or even perform certain basic bookkeeping and accounting tasks.

**What problems is Macola solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tracking inventory
