The setup process is not easy and needs assistance from both the Dev team and Echobox support. The platform can disconnect unexpectedly, making dependence on customer support necessary. It was difficult to manage LinkedIn profiles, and trying new platforms was expensive due to the business model. Canceling the auto-renewing contract was challenging, and customer support was described as awful. **What problems is Echobox solving and how is that benefiting you?** Echobox Social is supposed to automate our social media posting using RSS feeds, reducing manual effort for us. ### 2. Buyer Beware **Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Chris R. | Publisher / Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** January 15, 2025 **What do you like best about Echobox?** If you're simply looking to save time and have content auto-posted to social media platforms, it's fine. **What do you dislike about Echobox?** If you are truly concerned about keeping up with algorithms and maximizing engagement through social media, Echobox cannot keep pace with the rapidly changing networks. When we asked to cancel the software, we were pointed to terms and conditions on their website. At no point while using the software were we directly contacted about auto-renewals or updates to the terms. Unless you reach out to them, you will never hear from your customer service representative. When we made it clear we were ready to leave, they provided us with the following option: Option 1: In return for granting an early cancellation of your subscription contract, we kindly request that you leave two top-rated reviews on each of the following platforms: Capterra, G2, TrustRadius, and Google. Once you provide evidence of these reviews and we've had a chance to review them, we can proceed with the contract cancellation. I would be wary of the positive reviews you see as they have clearly created a system to get "top rated" reviews from customers who are concerned about their service. **What problems is Echobox solving and how is that benefiting you?** At this point, they are a drag on our business. The are partners unwilling to engage in a serious manner about our concerns with their product and customer service. ### 3.
