NRSV has come out with an updated version (NRSVUA) but the version on EasyWorship is the older one. We use BibleGateway to print the scriptures for the participants and it now only offers the updated version which means we have to manually change the words to reflect what EasyWorship displays on the screens in the sanctuary. EasyWorship definitely makes Sunday mornings go a lot smoother than they potentially could. It allows us to set up a welcome slide with announcement, a 5 minute timer before service starts, and of course the classic slide show for worship and sermon. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's fairly expensive for how basic it is and the amount of users it allows you to have. I know we don't have the most recent version of EasyWorship but to me (and I'm not the one running sound, nor the worship Pastor, I just do slides every now and again and submit slides when I'm preaching) it feels like we're paying a decent amount of money to do the same thing PowerPoint would do, except we can have 2-3 users and we can have moving backgrounds on the slides... There are a few redeemable qualities to EW. One thing I really do like is the ability to import videos from YouTube into a schedule with seamless transition. That makes showing videos from YouTube much easier. I also like EasyWorship 7 came with the ability to remotely control the presentation from the app, although it needs a bit of work. It just seems much more difficult to use and more outdated than similar programs, such as ProPresenter. One of the things I like is the YouTube integration, but it took me forever to figure out how to do that. Ease of navigation has been an issue for me with EW. The software is easy to use. I like that you can connect with multiple screens/projectors to display images and lyrics to hymns to everyone in the congregation. I would like to see more tutorials available for new users. When I first started using this, there was a lot of trial and error and I ended up having to resort to youtube or the internet to learn how to use the software and understand more of what it could do.
