Our volunteer operators find it easy to use. What do you dislike about EasyWorship? Unable to share Database easily across the team after spending months inputting all the songs we sing at Church as well as all the available liturgy. Whilst the database is now distributed, any updates are local to the machine it is running on. Alternative display (useful for lower thirds on live streaming) as well as receiving Midi commands are the latest features being delivered. There are themes that have been used on previous slides that I can't find in the Themes reperitoire and I'm unsure how to find them and use them again. There is likely a way but I haven't found it yet. Maybe someone could send me instructions? Updates are great but what I don't like is how you end up having to update elements of your computer (or your entire computer completely) to be able to continue using the program. I love that EasyWorship is a versatile system that provides a great deal of functionality with ease and speed and it is very easy to train volunteers to use. My main dislikes are that working with multimedia is a little counter-intuitive and setting up the weekly schedules usually requires a trained individual. We depend on volunteers to perform most of these functions, so ease of use is required so our volunteers may become proficient very quickly. What do you dislike about EasyWorship? The reason for my tech call is that I updated to the new version of the software, and the arrow keys no longer worked for advancing slides. We have a number of different people who help us on Sundays, and when a change like that occurs and we didn't know it was coming, it becomes not only inconvenient bu distracting to worship. EasyWorship seeks to make the unique aspects of worship media presentation easy, and straightforward while at the same time robust. On the surface, it is an easy-to-use and well-laid-out user interface that offers simplicity in flow and function to get the right job done for churches. However, the program offers a robust set of presentation features that allow deep customization and integration. The most recent version, brought together the benefit of multiple layouts, allowing for one "look" within the church, and a second "look" perfect for lower thirds live streaming. The development cycle does tend to be slower than some other church presentation software. EasyWorship has allowed us to have one person control the graphics/ video/ lyric projection for both our in-person gathering attendees and our live-stream attendees. I've sometimes wondered if they are anticipating new features to remain competitive or are reacting after the fact. In any case what I've found is if there is a feature that I'm interested in they are very open in letting us know if it's coming soon & have even given me a Beta release to try out.
