You can only get 1 rate at a time (example, based on weight OR small flat rate box OR flat rate envelope OR medium flat rate box OR So if you want to allow users to see a list of rates and select you end up making 7 or more requests to build the list of rates. Which sucks but is not a deal breaker. Except that if you make too many requests, they lock your account for wasting resources. So they've built an API that requires a lot of requests to be made and then penalize you for making too many requests. Move on. Once they signup, it is user-friendly to guide them on setting up their payment method to fund their postage balance. Our customers do not complain about any issues with their accounts, and they can easily access their accounts at any time. They also provide quick and timely responses to any customer inquiries about their accounts, so customer's issues are resolved promptly. **What do you dislike about EasyPost?** EasyPost has lacked some essential features our customers have been accustom to using with other postage providers. For example, address validation only provides one option for a user to select and does not provide multiple options for a consumer to choose from. They also are just starting to offer a line of credit option in which a user can be billed for shipments every month, whereas this is an option with others. When adding additional carriers under the API in the past, it was not as straightforward as we had hoped for, and it took some extra work needed to ensure the CA carriers were working correctly for our customer's needs. **What problems is EasyPost solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are now working on address validation to be able to provide multiple options for a consumer. We are also working on streamlining the user setup to make it more intuitive for our online consumers. ### 3. I like my customer support rep. He has been very helpfuly had has taken great interest in our account and out success. We have had a few call and he taught me a little bit more about how the API works and best practices. **What do you dislike about EasyPost?** It works good.... I'm not as well versed with API and coding.. I'm not a developer so it took longer than a developer to understand all the details. But most of the plug and play features work good. We were looking into easypost fulfillment a while ago and we werent too impressed with the warehouse location and procedures. A lot of the warehouse procedures didn't make much sense and there was an open flame heat source that seemed a bit odd **Recommendations to others considering EasyPost:** It would be nice if Easy Post had an API built out to build a portal for customers to track their orders themselves. That would be a great additional feature. Most of the knowledge base is all written out but some video guides on how to implement the code could be very helpful as well. **What problems is EasyPost solving and how is that benefiting you?** Small parcel shipping cost calculator. I am also working with my development team to hopefully use EASYPOST to create a new app to help us process warranty claims and process them in an easier and more efficient manner. I have been trying to schedule a call for 4 weeks now and have gone nowhere. All I am getting is the same email over and over from the staff. It seems like they are not ready the emails and simply putting pre-written answers. Finally, I managed to book a call with a person and they emailed me the day before the call to tell me that they have moved to a different position within the company and I should contact support again. Shame on you Kyle. How hard it is to put the call onto a colleague so I don't have to go through the same painful process for another 4 weeks? **What do you dislike about EasyPost?** The whole experience so far has been bad and a waste of time. The documentation is super straight forward and the solutions engineers were really great when looking to set up carrier accounts. The data structure is perfect to create shipping rules for us. **What do you dislike about EasyPost?** I had to submit to talk to a customer representative but the response time was really quick ~2 hours before I got a response which was way faster than their competitor ShipStation. **Recommendations to others considering EasyPost:** You will need some developer integration **What problems is EasyPost solving and how is that benefiting you?** We tried to integrate directly with USPS and it was a NIGHTMARE. EasyPost made it really easy to connect to USPS as well as other carriers. One cool fact that the salesperson mentioned is that if USPS API goes down EasyPost still prints USPS labels (apparently what PC postage means). This extra layer of redundancy for my business is a great piece of mine. I also built-in logic that if carriers are down I can easily use FedEx etc. EasyPost further has given our business access to super cheap rates! ### 10. We recently switched from UPS to FedEx and the number of changes needed was minimal **What do you dislike about EasyPost?** The webhooks mechanism is kind of complicated. I can never be sure that if a webhook failed because of any reason, That I will receive it again at some point. Sometimes I just need to register the tracking number again to get the content I need **What problems is EasyPost solving and how is that benefiting you?** EasyPost let us create a customer interface to print return labels. It is easy to change the setup on the go without writing too much code ### 11. Our Account Manager is great, it's nice that she actually seems to care and doesn't hesitate in simply asking how you are. **What do you dislike about EasyPost?** Their general support could be a little better, sometimes I find you have to explain yourself 3/4 times before getting an accurate answer. **What problems is EasyPost solving and how is that benefiting you?** Courier Integration, there is no need to build custom API to each courier we use, USPS, FedEx, UPS, DHL. Their support was on point when I needed it, though it was rarely necessary. **What do you dislike about EasyPost?** There are certain intricacies of integrating with the private carriers that were difficult to discern that could have been made clearer in their documentation. CS has always been Tier1 from the start, however, EP wasn't actually delivering in getting things out efficiently and on time. Our experience is that EP has completely changed for the better. What's more impressive is that they accomplished this in probably the worst time of year, logistically. BFCM went off without a hitch and continues into present day. Also, BOL's are received very quickly with their new system. For the record, I asked EP where I could leave a beneficial review because we're so pleasantly surprised. This was unsolicited by them. **What do you dislike about EasyPost?** I question actual inventory counts at times and the dashboard can be buggy, however, there are some glitches that have been resolved, so I know they're working on it. The GUI is underwhelming and some mechanics are a little archaic. I realize they are not here for pleasure, but it's the sum of it's parts, haha. Would love to see fill-in data directly on webpage as opposed to .csv files that are uploaded. Really hoping for an app as well, where I can not only see dashboard, but edit, input, delete and have some type of control via mobile device. Armed with an EP functional app, alongside Amazon and Shopify's killer apps, I can do business anywhere without always toting my mac. **Recommendations to others considering EasyPost:** Do your research, but it's hard to find a better deal. And it's only a good deal if it actually works, right?
