The extra features (tracking) are nice and work well too. Easypost is also reliable, it doesn't go down, which is extremely important in an environment where were are generating a lot of shipments frequently and do not want to delay orders. **What do you dislike about EasyPost?** The API documentation and implementation guides could be better and show more examples. They are a bit hard to decipher some times. Also, clarifying, and showing examples of, multi-parcel shipments would be helpful. **What problems is EasyPost solving and how is that benefiting you?** Generating shipping labels for multiple different carriers with a single API. Easypost deals with all the carrier-specific stuff so we don't have to, allowing for a much easier integration into our internal tools. ### 5. We use Shiprush in particular and it syncs seamlessly. **What do you dislike about EasyPost?** The part that I would say I dislike is the very high convenience charges for credit card. In this day and age, everything is done via credit cards and there are many other platforms out there that do not charge the high cc charges that Easy Post charges. **What problems is EasyPost solving and how is that benefiting you?** The biggest problem that EasyPost is solving is that I can buy lablels directly rather than through a third party. We used to buy labels through shiprush and that would be another third party involved in the process. ### 7. Customer service is not set up for a business that operates outside normal 9-5 workdays yet it stands to reason that customers who utilize shipping are likely ecommerce there for a 24/7 business. Having to wait on responses, getting vague answers or no response is the biggest frustration we have had with EP. The lack of education about specifics or quirks between EP and its customers is vast. Not only do our web developers not know what challenges EP presents with an ecommerce business unitl we find ourselves in the midst of a problem, there is no where on the EP site for anyone to learn these things. Language used is confusing. Site is not the most user friendly. Inability to download labels in a PNG file or format compatible with a thermal label printer. ACH processing times are lengthy and almost serve no purpose. Charge for using credit/debit card especially when ACH is not a sufficient option due to the 3-5+ day wait. **What problems is EasyPost solving and how is that benefiting you?** I have not received any solutions when I reach out to EP directly, therefore no benefit there. Our website developers seem to have to deal with long wait times in order to solve issues with or caused by EP. For example, it took weeks to remove shipping service options on our site; batching orders is still not 100% reliable; having said that, it is unclear as a business owner what part of this is an EP issue and what part is our website developers with either or both being a possibility, ### 9. Unfortunately, our returns portal extension did not have all our couriers available to them natively so we had to get assistance with Easy Post and get them to integrate us and connect it all together for us. Our extension is now working seamlessly. **What do you dislike about EasyPost?** I had a bit of trouble initially with figuring out how to format the returns labels that get sent to our customers. However, they did assist me to figure out where this needs to be fixed. **What problems is EasyPost solving and how is that benefiting you?** It's solving our issues with integrating with couriers for our returns portal - I know most of the other customers are probably using it to get better rates for their shipping but we already have a 3PL where we can do that however our returns process definitely needed their help. ### 10. Our operating efficiency has improved 10-fold with the integration of our new shipping software with EasyPost. EasyPost insurance also has been super easy to use. **What do you dislike about EasyPost?** Easypost does not allow for the customization of shipping labels. Similar services such as shipping easy do allow for logo placement on some labels depending on the carrier. I've also found that the UPS labels that easypost generates are not correctly formatted on the label but they are still readable. **What problems is EasyPost solving and how is that benefiting you?** Easypost helped us streamline our processes and allowed us to ship using our own carrier accounts, all without charging a monthly fee to do so. Technical support regarding the API is also good. As long as all you need is the shipping API and answers to technical questions, everything will be great, but know that you and API will be mostly on your own. **What do you dislike about EasyPost?** Beyond the API, the online interface is clumsy to use and lacking the ability to get information that you should be able to (you can't get any details about rebilled charges to your Easypost balance with having your own code to access that through the API, how can this be???). If you have any more significant problems, do not expect any support or resolution from Easypost. We used Easypost's own new DHL service when it came out to send some packages, however after delivery they came back with absurd rebilled adjustments and claims that packages weighed 3056 lbs. After multiple emails back and forth, it became apparent to us that a) the issue likely happened because when Easypost first rated the shipment their system converted between weight/dimension units incorrectly, b) Easypost would not admit to there being any issue on their part, and c) it seemed to us that their support agents were providing unhelpful and ignorant responses to avoid dealing with the problem Easypost created. I think Easypost knows that it is unlikely for a few hundred dollars of incorrectly billed shipments they refuse to correct to go to litigation and it is disappointing that this was their support approach. **What problems is EasyPost solving and how is that benefiting you?** When we started using Easypost, they were the best solution and price point for a simple shipping API. However, now are many other similar services doing the exact same thing, so if we had to start over and develop new systems we would likely not use Easypost again. ### 19. The integration saves time and money since the product dimensions and weight are already stored in the ERP. All that is left to do is to indicate how many of each product is in the package/s for the delivery. Then the information is sent to EasyPost, which returns the shipping label/s to Odoo along with the tracking numbers, which Odoo conveniently adds to the generated packing list/s. **What do you dislike about EasyPost?** The Odoo v13 integration doesn't always work and will sometimes not receive the labels back from EasyPost. I believe that they tried to fix this intermittent issue recently as the whole system was down for a few days but was back after we returned from the Thanksgiving Holiday. When the error occurs, I have to login to EasyPost and download the labels and attach them to the delivery in Odoo manually. **What problems is EasyPost solving and how is that benefiting you?** Shipping used to take a lot longer. Nearly all of our orders are shipped to customers. Also, 90% of our customers are new to us, so we noticed significant time savings not manually entering addresses on each shipping company's website.
